The office staff was extremely helpful and let us know that they would submit our request. We figured we wouldn't hear back until Monday, but were pleasantly surprised when we received a call from them less than an hour later. I do not know the name of the technician that worked on our unit, but he was extremely friendly and had our AC fixed in no time. He had to replace a part, and performed some other task, and the entire bill was less than $300. A lot less than we were expecting. Great service, great value and we will definitely use them for any future heating/cooling problems.

So i said to have him call me when he had the chance. A few hours later the owner Phillip shows up at my house. Surprised i said "I thought you were going to call i didn't know you were going to come back out " . He then proceeded to tell me he had been calling but i wouldn't answer the phone. I had my cell phone with me and had received no calls from him and when i said as much he stormed away saying he didn't have time for this. He then came back and I showed him my phone and he read of the number he had for me apparently either he couldn't read his employees had writing or they had written a 9 instead of a 4 for one of my digits. After finding out he had been calling the wrong number i guess he decided to take another look at the system (remember one person had already been out and given me quotes for his company). He then proceeded to tell me he would need to re work the quote and would have to send it to me that afternoon. As evening approached i had received nothing from Phillip so i called and told them things had changed and i would not be needing their services. Not fifteen min later the original person that sent me the first quote called me and said they they wouldn't be able to help me with replacing our units. thought it was kinda funny since i had already told them i weren't going to be using them. I see several glorying reviews on here and I have to wonder how many of them are fake. I will never call or use this company ever.

Leaving messages on voice mail each of these days elicited no response. On the 14th, I drove a few miles to the business's location and left a note on the front door explaining my situation and requesting a call. I did not get one. On the 15th, I called the owner's personal cell phone number and left a message. Again, no response. Regardless of how busy this company is, a call back to acknowledge that my call was received would have been appreciated. I had spoken to them about putting it in and I was told it's best to put it in when the weather gets cooler. I called to make the appointment, I was told they have no interest in replacing my old unit with a new one....And I should call Lowe's to find someone to do that. This leaves me to believe because I won't buy a unit from them they won't keep their previous commitment. I would have remained a good customer. I guess they don't remember their in the service business because that wasn't courteous. I really believed they'd keep their word... it's easy to treat customers that way when times are good.

The technician that arrived was also polite and well groomed and immediately went about his business and he had my AC up and running in less than an hour which they only charged for the time which was a pleasant experience. The tech informed me that my system was on the older side, which I was aware of, and he requested to take pictures to forward to their sales department, which I received a follow up call and an estimate in a week and the salesman was very informative on all kinds of rebates from the manufacturer and the energy companies. Lakeside Chimney was a great choice! We initially went with…read morea popular chimney company from around Springfield because it was who our General Contractor used. What a nightmare! They replaced our old chase cover with one that was so flat that it had puddles on it after it rained. They drilled rusty screws down through the TOP of the chase cover to fasten it, instead of stainless screws in the side. Then they put a booger gob of caulking on them to try to seal them. Then they got crazy with the caulking and tried sealing the chimney collar to the chase cover, which defeats the purpose of the collar to allow air flow. Somewhere between all of their installation errors, they defeated the very purpose they were hired for, which was to stop the chimney from leaking in our garage!!! Brandon and Caleb from Lakeside Chimney did an excellent job on our chimney! Even our General Contactor was asking for their business card.
