Meat lovers and chicken Parmesan with Alfredo
    Brandy C.

What can I say? This is the freshest pizza we have had in a while and by far the absolute BEST in the area, hands down. The girl that took our order was super sweet and helpful, explaining everything on the menu and patient while we took a few minutes to look everything over. We ordered cheese sticks for an app, I went with the Chicken Parmesan w/ Alfredo pizza and he got the meat lovers. Everything about it was delicious. We will most definitely be back!

So grateful to have this Italian pizza place in the town! It's so good and delicious! Home style tiramisu is the best way to finishing up the meal. Definitely I will bring my Italian in-laws when they visit us soon. Also the owner is very friendly. You will see some oil on the bottom of the box but it's from olive oil and fresh cheese.

The menu located by the service window, on January 31, 2026.

I fear I cannot articulate just how incredible my first (but certainly not last) visit to Dolce Forno was! The ambience: immaculate. * The Dolce Forno team have stylised the outdoor seating area in a way that feels both comfortable yet refined, cultivating an incredibly welcoming, relaxed, and sleek outdoor dining venue. It is sheltered from the weather without feeling too enclosed or claustrophobic, so much so that my husband and I more than happily (and comfortably) sat outside whilst waiting for our pizza in 32 degree, windy weather. Speaking of wind, the aromas that wafted out of their kitchen upon approach has us 'sold' before we'd even had a chance to peruse the menu - if they could bottle and sell those fragrances in a candle, my house would be smelling like the Dolce Forno kitchen year round! * There is a limited number of parking spaces located off the street out front of the business, as well as overflow parking around the back, with convenient access to the business front from both parking areas. The service: exceptional. * The Dolce Forno team were efficient and professional, and went above and beyond with their customer service. Other customers opted to wait in their cars whilst their food cooked, and the owner and chef opted to hand deliver their food to their car without even being asked, and with a smile on his face. The food: indescribable. * Currently, I can only speak to their pizza, which is truly light-years ahead of any other pizza that either my husband or I have ever had, having lived and traveled to several countries and cities around the world. I cannot wait to work my way through the entirety of their menu! Dolce Forno is more than proving why in December 2025, UNESCO declared Italian cuisine to be the first entire national cuisine to receive the honour of being an 'Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity'. The value: phenomenal. * Almost too good, to the degree that it feels borderline criminal to have paid the price we did for the above experience we received. Final thoughts: * I wholeheartedly and enthusiastically encourage (nay, implore) everyone within the area to try Dolce Forno when they have the means and opportunity. To finish, I'll leave you with my husband's 2-cents; upon finishing our pizza, my husband declared "this is the only place I'll be ordering pizza from in Crestview... Food this good shouldn't be allowed to exist."

Finally tried out this new Italian pizza restaurant in Crestview FL, the pizza dough was so fresh and different from anyone else in the area.... Spoke with the owners, heavy Italian accents, his brother has an Italian restaurant back home in Italy and this is a sister restaurant with similar food options.... They moved from Italy over to California back in 2017 and then recently moved to Crestview because Florida was not "as crazy" as California!! LOL we ordered the Toscana stuffed Focaccia, & Piemonte and some Tiramisu, it easily fed the 3 of us for $41 including tip, also included a free canned drink at lunch time. Super friendly owners and their food is completely different from any other pizza place around here!! 5 stars and highly recommend!!

After…read moreseveral visits there, no restaurant, trattoria or osteria would serve giant meatballs on top of the spaghetti . I'm not sure about the carbonara. There are two different ways to cook it truly Italian but no recipe that calls for cream or "peas" in it is Italian (The peas in the carbonara with crème fresh is a Gordon Ramsey variant while just using heavy cream is an American variation of this dish.) Now this is not to say their dishes aren't good, they are just not traditional Italian. My mother enjoyed the spaghetti and meatballs. She actually had to take part of it home. My carbonara was satisfying and the sauce was not runny. In Italy, bread is not an appetizer. You should eat it alongside your main protein or vegetable courses, use it to push food onto your fork, or save it for fare la scarpetta--using a small piece to mop up the leftover sauce on your plate after eating your pasta. Where the bread with olive oil served on the side comes from, I have no clue. Perhaps other items on the menu will be more traditional. Service - the little girl that took our order appeared to be over whelmed. It took me ten minutes to get the check Ambiance- neat and clean. This year there was just a party of 6 of us so it was easier to give a food review. Everyone had wonderful meals that consisted of Linguine & Mussels, Tom's Pasta, Linguine $ Shrimp, and three of the bacon wrapped tenderloins with squash risotto which was a special for the night. A cannoli was ordered to go. Everyone reported that their meals were delicious. The three of us who had the tenderloin special were amazed and we agreed that it was just as good as what you get at a Ruth Chris Steakhouse but half the price. The steaks were topped with a screwer of 3 perfectly prepared steak and topped with an onion bourbon sauce. The squash risotto was perfectly prepared also. The cannoli was delicious, not too sweet. Our waiter was awesome and I wished we had gotten his name. He packed up all our leftovers and was knowledgeable about questions we had on the menu. He has great customer service skills. We look forward to visiting this restaurant again. They don't open until 5 pm Tuesday-Saturday. We visit the area 4-5 months a year so are limited to our visits. Wish they were open for lunches.

We felt very under dressed for this restaurant but, you wouldn't know it based on how we were treated. We were kindly greeted at the door and offered a table right away. We opted to sit at the bar because we were in a hurry wanted to place a to-go order for a pizza. Our bartender was very kind and accommodating, He answered all of our questions and made recommendations. All of the pizza offerings looked fantastic. We settled on the Calzone Genovese, even though this was a calzone there was no problem making it into a pizza. The wood fire pizza oven was in the center of the restaurant, so we were able to watch them make our pizza. It had ricotta cheese, mushrooms, pesto, and caramelized onions. It was very good and a nice change from a pizza with classic red sauce. The pizza crust had a good amount of char on the bottom with just the right amount of thickness. I would recommend Mimmo's to anyone and will definitely return if I am ever back in Destin.

We liked the house bread better Gnocchi with lobster- 5 stars, absolutely delicious. I was nervous about the lobster. But it was cooked perfectly in the dish. Gnocchi melted in your mouth. Loved this Pasta lobster dish - 5 stars, also absolutely delicious. Perfect cook on the lobster, house made pasta, just wonderful. Tiramisu - 3 stars, it was delicious, only complaint was the lady fingers were not soaked in coffee. And they placed chocolate syrup on it, not sure why. Bread pudding - 2 stars, it's not traditional bread pudding. It came out in slice of cake form. The ratio to Carmel bourbon syrup was way off. It was more apple spice cake than bread pudding in my opinion. We would definitely go back for the pasta and house bread, while skipping apps and desserts. We would recommend this place for pasta!
