Their service has been always on time, the food is consistently good, and the people working the counter have never gotten a single order wrong out of the 20+ times I've ordered from here. when I came to get my pizza a bigger white lady came up very rude with brown hair asking "what can I do for you" in a very rude tone. I then tell her I had a an order for (my name) and she turned around and threw a random pizza in a box and threw the box rudely in front of my face. and walked off. Place an order on line for pizzas and extras at about 541pm. Response was 89-99 minutes before it would be ready, see attached photo. I called at 542pm to verify the given time for.pick up. Woman on the phone was rude and just kept saying, "yeah" when I asked if 89-99 minutes was true. I called at 623pm to check progress and was told it was ready. Really?!?!? No phone call, email or any other notification that it was ready. I live about 20 minutes away from the North Crestview location. I arrive and asked what time my order was completed. A female worker looked at the time on a box, turned around and flat out ignored me. The time on the box was 557pm!! 16 minutes after the order was placed!! Management only cares about anything so far as it relates to their precious bonuses. Period. They don't care if a chicken wing falls on the floor - just send it out with 5 instead of 6. This is a regular occurence. They hate their jobs and scream for customers to die and to learn how to cook, of course not realizing if that were the case, they would not have these jobs. If a pizza warmer is broken and no room to keep pizza warm, no problem, just put it anywhere. Hateful staff that do not care about anything. Seriously, find another pizza joint. Papa John's uses door dash when they are under staffed (we did not know this or we would not have ordered at all) a #DoorDash driver literally laid our pizza on the ground without knocking or ringing the doorbell ... 10 minutes later of not knowing and it's covered in bugs and water from the sprinklers. If I could leave no stars I would. I ordered a large pizza and garlic knots on 7/4 at 5:37 pm. Pizza shows up at 6:47pm. The lady steps out and says she's with Door Dash. She doesn't have the items in any bag just from the car seat to me. The pizza is cold. She states it was ready at 6:06 but didn't received a message till 6:30. I called Papa John's and the lady that answered said I could reorder but it would be an hour and a half till they could get me a new one. Of course I'm not gonna order again. So people stay away. Extremely Rude! I called the store because when we call the call center they say our address is undeliverable even though it is right down the road. When you call them it says to speak to her manager or any other questions press five so I did so that way we could have our pizza delivered. I have no clue who answered but they were so rude to start with, I was like "do I have the right number"? She was still being rude and then I finally told her, "There's no reason for you to be rude right now." And she said well I'm not being rude with the snarkiest attitude I've heard in a while. This place is already on the edge of being closed, they should just close the store, It's a waste of space. If they're going to actually be open, they need to either hire better people or train them on how to be polite in the first place. read more

I placed a order for a garden pizza and specifically requested NO CHEESE OR meat. After waiting 50 minutes for ONE medium size pizza I arrived and my pizza had cheese. They did not accommodate me nor apologize for order being wrong. I had to wait for them to make another pizza and it was very piss poor. Half cook and toppings just thrown on the bread. I haven't been ordering as often as I used to from Papa John's. We used to order at least once a month, usually twice, because of our hectic schedule. The pizza would feed us not just for dinner, but lunch for 1-2 days as well. Over the last 2 years, we've seen a serious decline in the quality of the pizza. The crust became rubbery. The sauce was bland. The toppings were flavorless. However, tonight we ordered a pizza - just cheese - for delivery, and it was actually pretty good. The sauce seemed to have more flavor than it has in a long while, the crust was cooked well, the cheese melted perfectly. Still only 3 stars, due to lack of quality over the last several months ... but I'm pleased with tonight's outcome! read more

I don't know why everyone is so upset with this location. I ordered a pizza in the morning (way ahead of time) for my son and his nanny to have while I was out for the evening. I used to be a big fan of papa johns pizza , but I'm starting to lose my patience. It's not a food quality issue it's a customer service issue . First off when ever you try calling the store at the number listed you are transferred to a call center somewhere in India I guess because every time I order now the person answering the phone has had a very heavy accent that you can't understand them well , as if that isn't bad enough they ask you a million questions and constantly try to up sell you on everything. I already know what I want whenever I call a pizza place so to me it is very annoying when someone keeps trying to sell you more, I tell them I'm not interested and they keep going. Now on to this particular location in crestview I ordered yesterday and when I picked up my pizza I look in the box and there is only one tiny and when I mean tiny I mean tiny like the size of a dime one of the hot peppers that they usually include at least 2-3 of when I asked for a couple more I was told they would charge me for them . I said that at every other papa Johns I've ever been to they give you at least two included with the pizza and they are decent size . The lady at the counter said very rudely "well not at this one we don't " I then said well I will skip the extra ones and just please replace this one with one that is at least normal size , she rolls her eyes at me grabs my pizza off the counter and goes back to the make line and says that the asshole and the counter is bitching about the pepper put a different one in the box wich they do and then brings my pizza back and practically throws it down on the counter and very rudely says " there you go, happy now " and walks off . This is by far the rudest service I have ever experienced at a papa John store . I don't know if it's a management issue at this location or if the employee was just rude , but I do know that with that kind of attitude towards customers she needs to be fired immediately. I know for sure I'm calling papa johns cooperate to discuss this issue . After this experience I'm about to write off papa johns altogether. There is plenty of other chain pizza places and plenty of individual local pizza places to order from that actually care about their customers and aren't rude. This is by far the WORST Papa Johns I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Placed the order online for a couple custom pizzas, one was 1/2 pineapple all ham and extra cheese. I received a whole pineapple, ham, extra cheese. When we called into the restaurant tabs asked to speak to a manager, Richard was called. After explaining the situation to him and that we received the wrong pizza toppings, he said that he will not do anything about it. Only reason this gets a star is because you have to give it something in order to comment I Ordered one night for delivery after a long day of travel from PA it took 45 minutes and was almost raw. Another night against my better judgement ordered again for delivery due to the torrential down pours outside - it took 1 hour and 56 minutes AND the entire order was incorrect and cold. I called in to say I didn't get the right order and at minimum needed/wanted the marinara sauce that I was charged -- for the breads ticks. The "manager" told me it would be at least 45-50 minutes to get them!!! Did not try in anyway to make my order correct or give me back the $$ I was owed an hour later still no marinara cups I called again to which I was rudely told they would get it to me as soon as they could ( and yes I paid for them) I use papa Johns back home all the time I can say by far in the 32 states I travel to for work this was the worst pizza/breads ticks / time for delivery and customer service I have EVER received!! If he did he would roll in there with Payton Manning and have him throw a football in the face of every worker in there to include the rude manager that took the order, the idiot who just yesterday discovered what a pizza looked like, and the cashier that appeared to have eaten all the wrong orders. I use to work for this company a long time ago and if this location is the future of Papa John's Pizza then Papa John better sell everything he has including his vintage Camaro, change his name and start looking for another business to pursue. In terms of chain pizza places, Papa Johns is probably the best in my opinion in terms of taste. They are definitely better than any other Big Box Pizza place. However, I don't think that the extra flavor you get with the pizza is worth the added price. I'd rather have a cheaper pizza from another chain or if I'm going to get a good pizza, pay a few dollars more than Papa Johns and get a local pizza from a small business. read more

This place is horrible! The first time we tried to order they told us "we don't deliver way out there.". It is less than 5miles away! We waited about 2 months and tried again as we like Papa Johns everywhere else. This time they told us an hour and a half. Two hours later we called and they said they were just leaving the store. In another 45-50 minutes we called back and they told us the order was set for carry-out ( we gave them directions when we ordered)..
