The food was seasoned well and everyone enjoyed the experience. I found the garlic knots to be a little doughy in the middle which I was not a fan of. If I were to go back I would re-order the wings and pinwheel. The staff were friendly and the food was ready in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend trying this pizza place out! read more

Great pizza if not a little expensive. Probably all I will ever have there though. Also worth mentioning they are always nice. Problem though, Decided to dine in last week and ordered a Philly cheesesteak with meat, cheese, and mayonnaise. Must have put a whole quart of mayo on it though. Had to throw most of it out. Thought I would give them another chance this week. Only didn't include mayo this time. Asked repeatedly for just meat and cheese this time. Sandwich came out with barely enough meat to get a taste and no cheese. Bread was basically burnt. Accepted the meat as it was, but questioned the no cheese. They took it back and put a small slice of cheese on it. In whole it was terrible. Ate about half, got no flavor out of it and threw the rest away. With sandwich, fries, tea, and tip, over $22. BOMB!! My husband and I were doordashing earlier and the smell of the order made us come back for a bite to eat. 10/10 my husband worked at a pizza joint as a chef and I'm a chef as well. The crust on the pizza is the perfect level of crunch and airy fluff, perfect amount of cheese without being too stringy, great sauce, not too greasy but still so flavorful. Our slices were piping hot and you basically get 2 full slices per "1" slice. Great family owned joint. You can tell these guys know what's up!! I'm not from NY but will say I've had my fair share of Brooklyn style pizza over many years. This place is the real deal. We can argue back-and-forth and say "it's the water" (and yes maybe for bagels) however for pizza I believe it's using top ingredient's that matter. Having the right sauce and cheese speaks volume. Crust texture was right on. Not a thick crust, not a thin crust, but just right. I'm sensing Goldie locks vibes here. UPDATE 3/16/24: today I tried the Pete's Philly for lunch. OH MY GOD! I've never tasted something so delicious. I almost cried it was so good. It's gooey from the melted cheese, it's spicy from the jalapeños and red peppers, it's tender from the sliced ribeye, you get extra flavor from the pepperoni. Loved this place! Quick breakdown for this newly established pizza joint: Customer service was GREAT. The young lady at the register was sweet but a little soft spoken, and kinda hard to hear but she was very nice. One of the dudes came around to ask how everything tasted after you'd had a bit to try the food. He even overheard another customer say it was his birthday and without making a big deal, the same dude brought birthday boy a piece of cheesecake. Class act! The food. We ordered: - Fried ravioli - Pepperoni Twists - Meaty Calzone - Brooklyn Philly Pizza Fried ravioli was great and so was the marinara. Personally, the pepperoni twists weren't for me but that's a personal opinion. They came in a flat bowl with butter garlic sauce in the bottom of the pan. I didn't really care for that but if that's you, go for it! Meaty calzone was awesome! It was a little cool in the center but nothin to throw a fit about. Many places make and refrigerate these ahead of time and it makes since. The outside was very hot but just a little cool on the inside. Would order again. My boy ate the pizza and absolutely loved it! All in all, this the food and drinks plus tip was about $50. A steal for the quality of service and food. #1 takeaway that will bring me back is the quality of ingredients! This is a sticking point for me and they nailed it. The mozz was great, pepperoni had a lot of flavor and the sausage in the calzone was delicious. Off to a great start and good luck to the owner(s) and employees! Ordering is a little slow as the girl is new and learning, she will pickup speed as time goes by. I ordered a 18 inch pepperoni onion garlic and oil Pizza. It was perfect. Cooked just right, the crust was thin and tender sauce is better than I have ever had. Could not have had a better Pizza. Just like what I remember of New York Pizza right from New York. I always recommend to add olive oil to any Pizza, try it you will be hooked. I went in 3 times when they first open wait was so long I left. Really glad I returned. I have never been to Brooklyn Pizza before but my pregnancy craving told me I had to try it... but my toddler is sleeping so I had to door dash it. IT'S SO GOOD. I was confused about the lunch special for "pasta, side salad drink" because when you go to select a drink option it wants to charge you more. I didn't make a drink selection but I left a note on the special instructions and simply asked if it came with one after all. Wasn't sure if I was going to get one or not but the order got dropped off with my Dr Pepper. I am so impressed. Not only with how good the food is but they did right and sent a drink with my order too. Might have to make my husband take me for dinner tonight also because if it's this good delivered it's got to be even better fresh at the restaurant.
