Trap Nail Shop I would never recommend this salon ,if that's what you wanna to call it. I called and made a appointment to get my nails powder dipped She did not have many colors and then she proceeded to tell me that they don't do this often I left out very unhappy my nails looked horrible. I not only went once but twice then the third time the owner told me to come back and she would treat me to a pedicure when I got there she told me I would have to pay for gel when that's all I wear is gel I told her I will never come back to this trap salon. Terrible experience there. Was told in the phone that a bikini wax was $30 only to learn once naked and on the table that that only covered half of the area, that it would require $10 more not to have a half assed job. Then proceeded to get a mani-pedi that was $47. I tipped the girl $20. Gave it about an hour to dry between getting my nails done and dried at the station. Came home to big toes completely smudged, this after the manicurist sprayed me with drying agent three times. Seriously overpriced and amateurish. When I complained to the manager about my experience with the wax bait and switch she told me that "she didn't want to argue." Don't go there. I went to Dolce Nail Salon since I was nearby and wanted to get my nails done with my friend. I am EXTREMELY angry because the people working took complete advantage of me and my friend, being that we were the only people in there and we are teenagers. I was charged 85 dollars for a set of acrylic gel nails and also specifically asked for no gel. My friend was charged 100 dollars for a full set of French tip acrylics. These prices are absolutely insane and nobody should be spending this much money on nails, especially when they aren't satisfactory. My friend and I both got acrylic sets and I was charged $100 for a full set of french tip nails. I specified I did not want gel when I was given options while making my appointment, and when I arrived I was not asked which I wanted and they did gel without asking. I left with crooked nails and extremely dissatisfied with what I received for the amount of money I was charged. I know multiple other people who have gone here and were only charged $60 for a full set, while my friend was still charged $85 for a full set. We were completely taken advantage of because we are teenage girls and no other patrons were in the salon at the time. The salon is clean and the employees are relatively friendly. There are a lot of service options. The pedicure chairs look really nice and it did seem like they take great care to keep everything sanitary. However, the pricing is absurd. $35 for a gel manicure and $12 for an eyebrow waxing is totally out of line with the norms for these services. I am also frustrated because my gel manicure chipped the same day it was done. I went back to have it fixed and they did fix it, free of charge. However, another nail chipped again the next day! I don't have time to keep coming back. For a $35 gel manicure, I would expect it to last at least a week. They also do not offer powder here which typically stays on longer. If you cannot provide a quality gel manicure, at least offer powder! read more

I came in with my cousin and mother and their salon is very hygienic. Alexandra did my nails and feet and she was very detailed-oriented, despite speaking very little English, and she didn't rush me. The boss came by more than once to ensure she was doing a great job...it was a very different experience than back in, plus very peaceful and spacious. I went on Thursday to get a mani pedi before heading back to school this week. I woke up on Friday to my big toe throbbing, which has turned into a red, swollen, infected mess since then. I would think twice before going to this salon. I've never gotten an infection from a pedicure before, but it is so painful and I'm frustrated that I spent $60 and now have to spend time and money this week at urgent care. The place is nice and clean and the girl who did my pedicure was great but the pricing is ridiculous. My friend and I were charged $70 for a pedicure each when we went in over Memorial Day weekend. We did get talked into the "spa" pedicure but the price on the wall for a regular pedicure was under $40 and we certainly didn't get almost double the service. The prices are not marked anywhere and we had already received the service so I couldn't really argue. However, if you are going for a mani/pedi and don't have 2 hours to spend, go somewhere else. Like any place, there are a combination of skills between staff members, but the difference here is exponential. The highly requested workers provide higher quality nails and are much faster than others. Therefore, if you do not request someone specific, you could end up being there for a very long time, with a lower quality service. One of the most appealing qualities about this salon is their customer service. They will do their best to give you what you want without giving you a hard time, which is more that I can say for many other places. They have even stayed later for me just to finish my nails. Granted, I had already been there for almost 2 hours, but that's neither here nor there. If I'm in a rush, I go somewhere else. After exhausting all nail salons in my area, I knew I had to go look at locations further away from my home. I may have had to travel 30 minutes to get to this salon and spa, but it was worth it! My nails are beautiful and they took great care of them when I let me be aware of having very weak nails from bitting my nails in years past and just up until 6 months ago. During this visit, I only got a gel manicure with two different colors so it was $40 instead of their usual $35, however I am going this weekend again for a pedicure and bringing my mother for a manicure since we have been both desperately looking for a salon that will be worth every penny and then some! Pretty much paid 35 dollars for a paint job my 8 year old could have done. Rushed through the pedicure. Had to get help from another tech to do a basic design. Not worth it at all. If your going to charge as much as you do... at least know how to do more than painting a nail one color. I can get a full spa pedicure where I usually go for 5 dollars more and it's an hour long and perfect. They charge 55 for a basic acrylic refill w gel polish. Not to mention nobody knows what their doing. Everyone talks back and forth fighting over who's taking the next client " why can't you do it I already did one" etc. not welcoming. Overpriced. I had the same experience a few months ago. Wanted to give it another try since I understand sometimes people have a day... and I moved to the area in October... and this was so close to my house. She does an amazing job every single time and doesn't rush through it like most nail personnel do. She is the reason I keep coming back to Dolce! The contemporary and bright decor adds some character to the salon that I enjoy. Jessica (the manager?) is always pleasant and greets you as soon as you walk in the door and makes sure you've been attended to as quickly as possible. If you come during mid morning and early/mid afternoon, it's going to be crowded no matter where you go. This place is decent. I think it's gross and unnecessarily cheap that they don't use towels for their pedicures but instead use paper towels. It just feels grimy that the only thing between your wet feet and where everyone else's wet feet is a soaked paper towel. Competition is too stiff around here for me to come back unless that changes. I walked in at 7pm when they close at 7:30pm and they refused to do my nails until I need them. As I sat down she tried to tell me to keep my nails the same shape it's an extra $5! Why? They are already shaped... makes no sense. Then she told me for a fill and one nail repair it would be $65! What are they made of crystal? I got a full set here one time for $50.
