Had an issue crop up with flashes and floaters. I am a new patient to Dr. Dolezal. His office ANSWERED the phone, which was an immediate plus. The person was very nice and professional and was able to get me in SAME DAY. Dr. Dolezal thoroughly explained my issue and what I could expect. I felt everything was top notch. read more

I waited 1 hour in the waiting room and then anohter 40 minutes in the exam room to see this doctor for a 2 minute exam. There was literally 1 other patient in the building besides me who was STILL in the waiting room when I finally made my escape! The doctor came in with some bs excuse and was chomping on a piece of gum like a cow. So unprofessional! I final got out of there and he calls my script in for a half of an eye drop. What! The pharmacists says this is not possible. Well ya! So it took 3 days to get my presecrition because he wouldn't call the pharmacy back. WTH! This was a waste of my time and money! Please, do yourself a favor and do not see this guy or anyone at Nortwest Eye Center! read more

I very much hate writing this review but at this moment I'm upset and angry. This is June 8, 2022. I have been a patient of Dr. Dolezal for, I believe, over 10 years. I had a scheduled semi-annual check up for July 29. It became necessary that we be out of town on that date so I called this morning to reschedule and the receptionist said ok we are now taking appointments for January 2023! I said "what, that's ridiculous". My checkups are not totally routine as Dr. Dolezal is monitoring a condition. I said how can he possibly be completely booked up for 6 months? (I should have gone to medical school and become an Opthalmologist). Dr. Dolezal is a good doctor and has always treated me well. As I said, though, I'm very disappointed in the way I was treated with absolutely no concern for my needs. read more

Okay, an update to my review. The accountant handed me over to a collection agency and it went on my credit report that I owed $350.00, which was for the collection agency and not them. Now my credit report is clean and both of the credit bureaus that said I owed this money, realize I do not. So, there! read more

I've had iritis a few times over the past several years and am always able to see Dr. Dolezal when needed. I also get my complete annual eye exams there. The staff and doctor are very thorough and personable. Although the wait times are a bit long, that's been my experience at any ophthalmologist' office. read more

I needed an eye exam to be put on a medication for my health condition. I called the office to inquire and asked if they could do the exam. The first words out of the receptionist's mouth were "Do you have insurance?" I explained to her that I did not and she immediately said that their first appointment they have isn't until January. Seriously? This is 5 months from now!!! I feel that just because I didn't have insurance I was brushed off. How discriminatory!!! Find another practice people, there are so many other good ones!!! read more

I appreciate the direct and frank way Dr. Lesser and I can speak to one another. Sometimes in a very humorous, epitaph-filled way. He and his staff really listen to me, don't rush me, and make it as pleasant and hassle-free as possible. He's older like me so he "gets" a guy. But, I took my fiancee to see him and they hit it off too. Seriously, how many couples do that and afterwards feel like it was fun? While he is my doctor, I feel like he's a friend and trusted confidant. He doesn't judge and doesn't force. That's the kind of doctor for me.

BEWARE OF THIS PRACTICE - I saw Dr. Richards for a few years…read more Sadly, this has come to an end. They hide fees, don't tell you extra fees up front. I went in for any eye exam and extra testing. At the emd of my visit, I asked for my prescription for my glasses, she would NOT give it to me. She told me I would have to pay 30.00$. I said absolutely NOT. I just paid them a 50.00$ co- pay. AND, they proceeded then to tell me my vision check up is NOT covered under medical OR my vision insurance, because they are surgeons. SO, BEWARE OF THAT CHARGE. I did some research, and it is AGAINST THE LAW for them to not release your prescription/or charge you for it. I have filed claims with the BBB Federal Trade Commission Lisa Madigan's office My health insurance company. THIS office cannot make up any rule they want, their are guidelines. I asked when this rule started and she stated July 2017. Never did I recieve any mailing on this. Their seems to be a lot of seniors that go here, I wonder how many of them, they screwed out of 30$. 1 week aftee I had my office visit with Dr. Richards, I received a letter from her stating, she no longer wants me as a patient. PRETTY CRAPPY, on their end. Its fine, their are plenty more doctors out their who run an honest practice.
