My daughter went in and just bought a pre made cake instead. When we cut it up to serve it, we found pieces of sliced up plastic inside it. We couldn't serve a single piece for fear of someone getting injured ! We called to let the bakery know what had happened, but we were transferred to a supervisor named Tommy, who got angry with us and began to cuss at us. Needless to say, we will NEVER, EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM MEIJER AGAIN!. I am just thankful that we found the sharp plastic pieces before any one swallowed them. It look a little used and could use some improvement especially some of the stores. It also lacks some stores you would expect in malls, and some of them are smaller than I am used to. Normally I go in the morning because the older staff seem very polite. Today, I think I will go back to the Bellefontaine or Marysville or Dublin locations, why? Today, I went here and I am dressed casual not bed time attire that you normally see at this location however name brand nice clothing. As I checked out on self scan with belt the lady named Margarine or close ( so close that I wear glasses and I could make out her name tag) stood right at the end of where you bag at and stared at me the whole time..... I get it MARION is full of drug abuse but not everyone is going to steal, if you alienate your customers, that's not a good thing. All my vegetables are really bad The containers of arugula and spinach are slimy. Cucumbers are mushy. Roma tomatoes are mushy. My zucchini is bad. My tofu is expiring in a couple days. Grapes are smashed and leaking out of the bottom of their bags. I don't know how anybody can get this ready for somebody to eat very poor food quality and to have someone pick your groceries for you to pick nasty slimy stuff should not be working in that area it's disgusting. I went online to return the items and got the first item on the list and the website just signed out. I was not able to add the other items.

I have nothing but good things to say about the level of help I've received. Kaylee in Hardware has gone above and beyond, and Justin behind the service desk has been of great help. Most of the employees have been super helpful, whether I need to find something or get something loaded into my car. I also get my prescriptions from the Walmart Pharmacy. The people working behind that counter are knowledgeable, courteous, and pleasant - always. I might not be able to find every item I need, but with COVID that's pretty much the way it is everywhere. Kudos to the Wapakoneta Walmart for doing what they can, and providing a safe environment in which to shop.
