My daughter went in and just bought a pre made cake instead. When we cut it up to serve it, we found pieces of sliced up plastic inside it. We couldn't serve a single piece for fear of someone getting injured ! We called to let the bakery know what had happened, but we were transferred to a supervisor named Tommy, who got angry with us and began to cuss at us. Needless to say, we will NEVER, EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM MEIJER AGAIN!. I am just thankful that we found the sharp plastic pieces before any one swallowed them. Meijer refused to listen to us and I have NO DOUBT that they have other cakes there with those pieces of sharp plastic in them.UNBELIEVABLE!!! They refused to even check their other cakes. Normally I go in the morning because the older staff seem very polite. Today, I think I will go back to the Bellefontaine or Marysville or Dublin locations, why? Well I normally hate shopping in MARION, because some of the people always stink. Today, I went here and I am dressed casual not bed time attire that you normally see at this location however name brand nice clothing. As I checked out on self scan with belt the lady named Margarine or close ( so close that I wear glasses and I could make out her name tag) stood right at the end of where you bag at and stared at me the whole time..... I literally, turned over and hey how ya doing like stopping staring and stop invading my space.... I get it MARION is full of drug abuse but not everyone is going to steal, if you alienate your customers, that's not a good thing. I can see watching from some space and not making it so noticeable like a creepy crawler. I know I won't be back to this one I think I will just go to Kroger's, everyone is nice. I also want to say this was the third issue with this store- one day they had no bread and TP stocked and the one time your proteins as marked down when I went up to the cashier she said it was my error. Had 2 tires replaced on my truck and when I went to pick it up, 4 dashboard lights were…read moreilluminated. When I went back in, the technician stated they were on when he brought the vehicle into the bay. They weren't. After complaining, they finally got the store manager, who advised me that their policy is to call a customer if any dashboard lights are present prior to beginning any work. I received no call, which supports my assertion that they damaged my tire sensor when replacing my tire. I tried filing a claim with their 3rd party insurance company, but of course was denied. Avoid getting automotive work done at Walmart as they don't stand behind their work.

I never leave empty handed and I'm always finding something I've been looking for. The staff is always super friendly and willing to help you if needed. Prices can be really good on some things. Last year I found a ton of awesome usually expensive board games for about $5-$8 a piece. My only complaint would be that the store itself looks a little run down and old. It's also not in the greatest area.

I have nothing but good things to say about the level of help I've received. Kaylee in Hardware has gone above and beyond, and Justin behind the service desk has been of great help. Most of the employees have been super helpful, whether I need to find something or get something loaded into my car. I also get my prescriptions from the Walmart Pharmacy. The people working behind that counter are knowledgeable, courteous, and pleasant - always. I might not be able to find every item I need, but with COVID that's pretty much the way it is everywhere. Kudos to the Wapakoneta Walmart for doing what they can, and providing a safe environment in which to shop.
