I called and they were very nice and said bring them back (about 40 min each way for me) so I told them it would be a while as we were going out of state for a month plus. Knowing it would be a while I wrote who I talked to and the date and then just froze them to bring back later. Today was the day and I went back to meat counter and they asked me to go back up front speak with people at the front counter. Again really nice and said just take it back and have them replace it. This is where you find out how rude and accusatory bad staff can be. He started by saying this was a long time ago, he asked if I he'd left them out in the car over night, if i had waited a long time to use them. The answer was no i had a picture take the next day after the label date from the day before. He then told me that I needed to take them as he did not want any rotten meat. So he took the first for poorly trimmed replacement and packaged them up as I was put them in my cold bag he said I need to take the other one with me. I dont know his name but he was a tallest guy in the back. As I left I told the people upfront (again nice people) that after 10 years of buying here I would not be back. We really like the place and want to support local place but bad employees or maybe he was an owner but either this is how you end up with another empty building in a small town.

They post their sales flyer on their Facebook page each week. I came in wanting to purchase some steaks that were on sale. Based on how low the per pound price was, I wasn't expecting much. But the steaks were lean and looked really great. They have a large selection of Amish prepared foods. Lots of jellies, etc. I also was impressed with the large number of Walnut Creek spice blends they offered. I can't wait to try them. The store was very neat and well laid out. I was warmly greeted by every single employee. I will definitely be back soon.

Kokomo has a number of grocery stores, but they are big, impersonal, and not fun to shop in. The staff at Martin's is so friendly and helpful. I miss being able to do my shopping there each week. Surprisingly, for a small town grocery, they have lots of the specialty products I use. And now that I have to cook Gluten Free for some of my grandchildren, I appreciate the large selection of GF products, particularly the flours and basic ingredients. At the front of the store, when you enter by the produce, there are always fresh items on sale. If you sign up in their app for your phone, you can clip coupons and get even better deals. Many times the produce at the front of the store is cheaper than you can find at Meijer or Kroger. Right now, they have Florida strawberries for $1.50 with a clipped coupon, asparagus for $2.50 a pound, and cherry tomatoes for $1.50 a container. All of these prices beat Meijer.... I know, because I was just there! What I also like about Harvest Market is there are plenty of employees walking around the store and restocking items. It is always very easy to find someone to answer a question. This is unlike some grocery stores where you have to go to Customer Service to get any help and then wait in a line to reach the counter. Don't forget Harvest Market for your grocery needs!

Not sure if I like all the liquid but I did like the flavor. And it was only 200 calories. If you've never had a cake like this I would definitely recommend trying it. And they had other flavors if chocolate isn't your thing. Would also recommend going to the customer service desk and signing up for a Kroger card so you can get the sale items.
