Starting on Saturday the line is around the corner of the building with people waiting to get a deal. The warehouse is lined with wooden crates that are full of everything you can imagine from toys to blankets to household items. There are a couple of rules but they're pretty straight forward. Shopping: Adults 16 and older are given a large blue IKEA bag. Whatever you can fit in it you can buy for only $7! That's every single item in the store. Once the bag is full you have to pay but you can come back in as many times as you want. If there is a box you want opened to see inside just ask a store employee and they will be happy to help you. Opening it on your own will get you kicked out. Only a certain amount of people are allowed in at a time so you may have to wait. No large bags or purses are allowed inside so just bring your wallet. They take cash or card. Don't drag the blue bags because they will rip. Saturday's everything is $7, Sunday it's $5. Parking: parking is limited on busy days. The Goose Creek police are there on weekends to help with traffic control and making sure everyone behaves. Don't park in the local business parking spots or you'll get towed. You can line the roadway against the grass closer to the train tracks. Food: Yes! Food trucks are here on the weekend serving out delicious food for hungry shoppers. The staff is really friendly and helpful. You never know what you'll find hidden under the piles so have fun!

There was also some new stuff like candles, signs, and soap for sale. This is a larger building with multiple dealers. Many of the booths had sales when I went. Glasswear, jewelry, pottery, clothing, decor, toys- I saw things from all of these categories. Service seemed friendly. There were items at a variety of price points and prices seemed mostly fair based on my experience visiting a variety of antique establishments in multiple states.

I didn't want to buy any of their fresh meat as it was possible that it might spoil before it made it home. Instead, I got to enjoy the historical marker here and continue onwards. The front of the sign reads, "Burrows's Service Station. This significant cultural and architectural example of a 20th-century country store was built in 1937 by Theron Burrows (1910-1973) when U.S. Hwy. 521 was finished from Georgetown to Manning. A combination grocery and gas station with family living quarters on the second floor, it was affiliated with Esso (now Exxon) and had the motto "we serve the needs of the neighborhood."" And on the reverse, "Cooper's Country Store. Burrows's Service Station sold not only staple goods, fresh meat, and produce, but also clothing, farm supplies, hardware, feed and seed, and automotive products and parts. After Burrows died in 1973 his son-in-law George Cooper bought the business, renaming it "Cooper's Country Store;" it now boasts several second- and third-generation employees and customers." I found a nice Weber grill there for almost $100 less than what I would've had to pay for it at a regular retail store I was very pleased with that purchase like I said I just enjoy going in there from time to time just to see what I might find.

Not only that, they managed to leave out an entire sandwich while putting the associated side in the bag. I'm at a bit of a loss on that one. Food-wise, I'll give them credit, though. The wings that we ended up sharing were real good: the skin was crisp but not crunchy, and the meat was tender instead of being overcooked and dry.
