Lo and behold, this gem of a place has a ton of affordable, accessible stuff that would make perfect gifts for the holidays, from practical to cute, clothes and gear, pets and people, you name it. There were items for children as well and a nice toy section. There is also furniture and kitchen appliances. As well as speakers and sound bars. I noticed that this place didn't have a Yelp or anything which I feel given how kind the owner has been, they deserve some recognition! There were tons of cool things but here I have shared some photos of things that especially caught my eye. If you snatch it up before I get it, so be it lol! The owner says the stock changes regularly so there will always be more cool stuff coming through. Give this place a chance if you want to get some good gifts, for yourself or whomever.

This is one of my most favorite shops to find an original gift with an eclectic twist. I never know…read morewhat I will find when visiting the store, but I can always find an inexpensive gift or a piece from a local artisan. The employees are not only friendly but also so helpful. If you cannot find something in the shop that suits your needs, they will search for what you may be interested in and special order it without any additional charges. If you want something personalized, they are glad to do it and make much of the jewelry they sell in-house, even making something to order if you request it. There is a reason that this store wins "Best of Denton" year after year.

First off, walking in, they have signs on the door that say cash only and self-serve only. There were bins of items to be unloaded and trash all over the store. You could not get through the aisles because there was so much crap everywhere. A lot of items were empty on the shelf, just a total mess. I was going through the self-service checkout and an employee walked by and asked how I was doing, I asked if all of the employees had quit or something and mention the store looks like a mess. She said they had just sent her in to help out and she wasn't sure what was going on, she didn't have the key she needed for the register and wasn't sure if they had any employees coming in or not. She was very friendly and I felt really bad for her that she had to work in such bad conditions. Dollar general corporate store needs to figure out what's going on and get this store in shape!
