K Squared is primarily a discount buyout store that sells everything from Food to Clothing to appliances, and toys. Many items appear to come from Cosco but well below the price. On any given day you can find something new popping up at K squared. They often get many organic drinks/snacks that are very reasonable as well as full cases of coconut water, and other healthy alternatives to regular grocery store merchandise. The employees are great as well always willing to assist you, and let you in on new things coming in. Overall this is a great shop if you are a bargain hunter or if you just want to get some decent quality merchandise at a cheap price. One of my favorite stops in Bedford County PA.

With the way that DGs are popping up everywhere they have a way of being unique in their own way, but at the same time almost identical in principle. This one is unique in the fact that they are aware of community they have set up shop in. This area of Pennsylvania is heavy with Amish and this location has a hitching post out front for those buggies you might happen upon while driving these back roads in PA. This location somehow feels larger than other locations, but in actuality, it is not. It is mostly an optical illusion. It is wider than most stores, but it doesn't go back as far as most stores. I think, if you look at it, they kind of squeeze it out to make it look as big, but it really isn't. Don't let that detract for the location. It is mostly well stocked and you should be able to find what you need. I was and was pleasantly surprised with the selection. One thing about this location is that if they might be out of an item, they at least will use what they have fill the shelves to not make it look like they have nothing to purchase. Overall, this is a great addition to the community, but this, in my opinion, might pull some business away from other communities.

Across the street from gas wells and a cell phone tower, and then completed surrounded by a corn field. Those memes do come true. Seriously, this is a stretch of US Route 22 that is basically void a much in this area. Once outside of Ebensburg or Blairsville it is usually sparsely populated with houses, but mostly with farmland. I understand the model that DG is going for, but this is just an oddly placed store with nothing else around it. Needless to say, getting here can be quite the chore and it hurts my head to just think about it. Coming west you need to make a left turn across two highway lanes of traffic, same for exiting. Coming east you have to hope you are not going to be tailgated and have enough room to slow down to make the turn. I see a problem here in the future. Outside is your typical setup for the store, lot is big enough to allow for a constant flow in traffic. Inside is also your typical setup with narrow aisles and shelves packed full of product. I do not recall seeing any carts in the way while I looked over the shelves. Most items were well stocked. The line at the register moved steadily.

I messaged him on a Saturday for availability and measurements. He provided me with measurements that would work, and I told him I could pick it up the next day. He wasn't available and said he'd send me an invoice to pay and would hold it until Monday. To me, that meant I had until the end of the day Monday to pick it up. I got the sense it was some kind of store, but he never said so nor gave me a name or any hours of operation. Just an address. I drove just over an hour on Monday to get it, and the sign on the door said they were only open Thursday-Saturday. I messaged him, and he said I should have messaged him before coming. On Tuesday, he messaged me that he'd be there for 2 hrs, but I was on my way to work. He said he'd be there Wednesday as well and would message me when he got there. He never did so I waited until Thursday. This time, I did message before leaving so he knew I was coming. When I got there, he did not have the ramp set aside. It was still on the shelf. It had a sold sticker on it, but it was very small and on the side of the ramp where it could easily have been missed by an employee trying to sell it or a customer wanting to buy it. He had to search for it himself, and I didn't see it until he showed it to me. When I got the ramp home and set it up, it was way too small. He had told me the measurements were 42" in length and 32" in height. After measuring it, it was actually 37" in length and 20" in height. WAY off. So I messaged him yet again. He said that he "didn't know" and "based on the evidence, it appears a mistake has been made". He told me that there were no refund "papers" posted all over his store and if I hadn't stormed in rude and left rude I might have noticed. Not sure what he meant with that. Maybe he wanted to swap life stories while I was there. He kept trying to throw out excuses for the previous lack of communication but I wasn't biting. I had to get home and then to work. I'd already driven more than an hour each way twice, wasting time and gas. He offered me store credit, and said that next week he would check his warehouse for the correct ramp. I didn't need or want store credit. I needed a ramp or steps. Nor did I really want to wait another week, but I would have. However, after telling him that I did not need or want store credit and asking what the alternative was if he could not find the correct ramp, he told me that I should have brought a tape measure with me and if I didn't want store credit then there was nothing he could do for me and I should sell it on FB marketplace. He told me that I had shown up without an appointment and that I couldn't just show up and demand people to run on my time. Something I did not do, nor a business that he provided a name or hours for. He told me I should have brought my own tape measure with me and that this was FB marketplace. Why does a business need to post "no refund papers" all over the place if they're being honest about their products? Seems to me as if maybe they've had multiple issues with this kind of thing. I would humbly take my losses if this had been my mistake, but he sent me misinformation. I personally sell on Marketplace all the time and I am always very honest about what I am selling. I told him he was showing poor customer service for a business. He disagreed and said that he would not be checking his inventory or getting in any more dog ramps and that I should save my gas. This guy is the rude one. I would think two, three, and four times over before trusting him or buying anything from his store.
