There's your security guard for the Indiana Walmart being disrespectful and following me everywhere I went. I was at the baby station, purchasing a new car seat for my son and out of nowhere. I start to feel somebody following me and staring at me look both ways and I see this creep. To not think the worse I went ahead and moved to the other section of the baby aisle to see if he was following me. I did it about three times and then I approached him and asked him is there any issues at that moment he said I'm just waiting for my wife I did not believe one bit of what he was saying so I went ahead and keep shopping looking around the baby section I do one to two more turns and I turn around to wait for him as I do he approaches me again looking directly at me. I went to one of the managers called Matt and he told me that that was not 100% the case but what a coincidence that I was the only person in the baby section at that time. That will be my last time I step in that Walmart again.. also creep I hope everybody recognizes you on the picture and know that you are the security guard for Walmart next time do a better job.

This is what your typical neighborhood grocery store would look like if you were searching for a definition. It's not all that big, but big enough to provide items for the community it serves. So much so that if you were searching for any of the items listed in the weekly sale, you'd be out of luck. This community must live and die by this store as all the items that were listed for sale were all snatched up. Not a single one left on the shelves. Customers could use a little update on what it is like to be polite as they will either walk in front of you and block what you are looking for, or just plain old not acknowledge that there are other people in the world. I don't know how many times I went to either look for or grab an item and the same lady just happened to rush through or to stand in front of me. At one point I actually said something to her to get out of my way in not so polite wordage. Then we got to the front of the store to check out. YIKES! What a bottlenecking mess. I mean this is by far the worst check out line I had been in in a while. There are multiple registers, but only two were open. Ones that face each other as one looks like it serves as customer service/tobacco products and one that was a regular checkout. We get in line for the one that is not for customer service and it appears that it irritated the lady working the register. To the point that she basically yelled to everyone in line that the other register was open. Yes, we can see, but you, with your glasses, must not have been able to see. There were already two ladies in the line with massive orders. They were going over every item to scrutinize what they bought and then they were paying by check. So yeah, we know the other line was open, but by observing what was in front of us we knew that your line would still be faster. Did it still take forever, yes. Were we out of there before the two ladies in the other line, yes. But to have to deal with attitude from someone that had to do work was not pleasant.

I was told that this location used to be a Giant Eagle Express that didn't work out. DG came in,…read moredid a quick landlord special to the interior and called it a DG Market. Prior to this visit, I had never been in a DG Market, but there isn't much difference from a regular DG. They just throw in some produce and meats that aren't frozen to tack on the Market portion of the name. With them reusing the building they were able to use the space nicely and didn't have to do much with the rest of the store, aisle wise. I thought it was a novel idea for them to add the meat and produce, but overall I wasn't impressed with this location. I know why they put it here was for the college students to have access to something fresh, but it is definitely not a destination for those from out of town. I walked about here for a bit, I was with my family. I didn't see anything that I needed except for a sweet tea that I don't have the chance to get much anymore since I moved. I walked around and didn't see much else. I ended up paying and exited the store.

Inventory is what you see in the worst inner-city grocery stores. I bought butter today that expires in two days and taste absolutely rank. I paid five dollars for those four sticks of butter. They also have signs saying that it's family-owned and operated which my guess is to guilt you into shopping there if you are a local. One of my favorite features is the aisle with household items peppered with gambling machines and chairs. I included a picture of this. At the checkout, there are numerous signs advertising that aisle 8 has these machines. Just drive up to Martin's or Giant Eagle in Indiana.

It's unsafe to shop here, especially if you're coming into contact with vulnerable populations or if you yourself have a compromised immune system or chronic condition. The "health" part of their health grocery store marketing is laughable if staff is not wearing masks, gloves, social distancing and sanitizing like all of the other grocery stores in the county. While I adamantly support local businesses, with this level of negligence happening in front of customers, I will not be back. This brings into questions the practices that are happening at this store when customers are not around.
