I ended up getting everything that we needed (including baby supplies, swimming stuff, etc.) all in one stop! YES, please! I scored the cutest sun hat for $9.99 that I can just leave at our cabin since they don't travel well. They also had all of the baby goods that we needed for our little man. We will be stopping here every trip from here on out because getting everything in one place is priceless after a long travel day! The only thing that you can't get here is liquor but they sell that across the parking lot so my husband made that stop while I did the rest. We'll see be back next summer! :)

We also tried the cheese curds which also exceeded expectations. Then we got some very expensive chicken that we turned into fried chicken. Apparently the local chicken farmers lost their livestock so prices were higher than normal. The employees were friendly and helped me find everything I needed.

The store is really bright and well-designed and kept immaculate and well-organized. The produce was all fresh and I saw nary a blemish on any of them. Same with the meat/butcher section. They have cute little cars in front of carts for little ones. They bag your groceries and carry out your food to your car. They had a good coupon book and had some inexpensive options for every item.

Paul is very friendly, but the friendliness level of the check-out staff can be rather hit-and-miss, some can't find a smile, some can't manage a "hi". Not as much love as when Willie assured us , "We love your here at Willies!". That's probably also the reason for taking unfair advantage of their fortunate position as the only major grocery store within an hours drive of Morris. I think we can all understand the business sense of "get it while the getting is good" but charging 3+ times the price of any competitor goes beyond that. The customers lost some things that Willie's offered pre-Covid, things that were never brought back, some that had always been and are now lost to the past (paper bags is one with lots of complaints). Now I hear we're going to lose Pump Perks. Paul shouldn't lose sight of what could happen if another grocer ever did move into town. Yes, we appreciate having Super Valu in town, and, yes, we will pay the oft exorbitant prices (the reality of monopolies), but, maybe, in return, Willie's could bring back something customers have lost? Maybe keep the Pump Perks or bring back the paper bags. Something tangible to show your appreciation for every customer's contribution to your continued success, something that says, "Remember, we STILL love you here at Willie's"! Today was a decent experience. The parking lot was clean and there was no trash, though it could have been the high wind today. Cart corrals needed attention. Inside the store, mostly tidy and only a few areas where there were items missing. The grocery area was well stocked and I found my travel snacks. The self checkout person (dawn) was extremely rude. Instead of just checking to see if we had the appropriate number of items scanned she just CANCELED OUR ENTIRE PURCHASE!!! Then she told us to start checking out again. That was the last thing we had to scan to finish our purchase. We had to rescan everything again. When we told her all we wanted was a check of the correct number of items and asked her why she canceled our entire purchase she told us "I hope you don't come back again". We went to customer service to tell them about our experience and they were very understanding and helpful. On the way out of the store Dawn had a rude comment to us which we went back to customer service and told them about. They were appalled to hear someone working for Walmart would speak to their customers like that. We will NEVER go to Walmart in Marshall again!! We will do our shopping in Sioux Falls where there are Target stores and they know how to treat the people who shop in their store with respect!!!! We will share this experience with others.
