The sign has faded, and could use an upgrade since I couldn't even tell it was open if not for the cars parked outside. There was a solid working crowd ordering when I walked in. The grocery store itself is just a legacy at this point. Good spice rack selection, but then the next section to stick out is a stack of DVDs and PS3 games beside some soft drinks and chip bags. It seems most customers were ordering cold meats and subs, but I decided to go with the basic burger with mustard and pimento cheese. It was heavenly. It did cost $6, which is a little on the pricy side for Morganton, but I'm happy to have finally stopped by.
