I purchased the contents here for making a 2-Alarm chili, which is dee-lish by the way, and while shopping I also noticed that tiny stores like this in tiny towns like this, for whatever reason, always seem to be launching pads for either new, or strange and unusual products. At least this has been my experience through the years. Example: While browsing through this store, I noticed they were selling sour cream-flavored Doritos, as well as a new flavor of Doritos called Salsa Rio. Of course, I purchased both! And both flavors...are awesome! Now, I have seen these particular products in bigger stores and in bigger places since, but I saw them first here...at the Piggly Wiggly...in Plain Dealing...on New Year's Day! And why not shop here?...It's a Piggly Freakin' Wiggly! Piggly Wiggly rules!!!

Rugs, books, kid's stuff, drinks, outdoor stuff. You name it, they've got it! Snacks, cookies, nuts, guy stuff, almost anything you can imagine.

I opened the package up to prepare them to smoke yesterday and I just couldn't cook them. They smelled so bad I had to throw them away. They past couple of times I have bought meat from HEB it has not been up to the usual HEB standards. What is going on with the quality of meat that HEB is selling? I drive over 25 miles one way to purchase meat from HEB. After the past few visits, I will be shopping for meat some where else.
