He, for no particular reason, seems to be into hitting up loads of grocery stores. Honestly, is this what I have to look forward to when I get older? I truly hope not. This is what your typical neighborhood grocery store would look like if you were searching for a definition. It's not all that big, but big enough to provide items for the community it serves. So much so that if you were searching for any of the items listed in the weekly sale, you'd be out of luck. This community must live and die by this store as all the items that were listed for sale were all snatched up. Not a single one left on the shelves. Customers could use a little update on what it is like to be polite as they will either walk in front of you and block what you are looking for, or just plain old not acknowledge that there are other people in the world. I don't know how many times I went to either look for or grab an item and the same lady just happened to rush through or to stand in front of me. At one point I actually said something to her to get out of my way in not so polite wordage. Then we got to the front of the store to check out. YIKES! What a bottlenecking mess. I mean this is by far the worst check out line I had been in in a while. There are multiple registers, but only two were open. Ones that face each other as one looks like it serves as customer service/tobacco products and one that was a regular checkout. We get in line for the one that is not for customer service and it appears that it irritated the lady working the register. To the point that she basically yelled to everyone in line that the other register was open. Yes, we can see, but you, with your glasses, must not have been able to see. There were already two ladies in the line with massive orders. They were going over every item to scrutinize what they bought and then they were paying by check. So yeah, we know the other line was open, but by observing what was in front of us we knew that your line would still be faster. Did it still take forever, yes. Were we out of there before the two ladies in the other line, yes. But to have to deal with attitude from someone that had to do work was not pleasant.

The employees that I have encountered were either rude or dismissive. This happened consistently…read moreand I simply stopped using the store.

Being able to pick up my (large) bakery order and not leaving someone disappointed at home makes me happy. Had my list of must haves. I meandered through all the departments. Wasn't on a time schedule. I spent 2 hours in the store. Found beautiful baby lamb chops. Filets were $6/lb cheaper than my grocery store. Bought beautiful endive. Had to bring home the red wine peppered salami. Coming home, opening the cooler, and handing out foodie presents is like Christmas morning. The oohs and aahs were heard at multiple houses. The staff were very helpful finding my treasures. Wegmans trips make traveling for business worth it.

I found it to be quite a good store, with everything you could want: my weird health-food desires like coconut flour and buckwheat groats (that I usually have to visit specialty stores for); pharmacy supplies; lots of pre-made food; diverse international offerings; plenty of organic and pre-cut produce; flowers, etc. Despite it being my first time, I was able to navigate it without too much difficulty. When they were out of green onions, a friendly worker was able to refill the bin quickly for me (and direct me to the spacious, clean bathrooms). They have tons of checkout lines, only a couple were open with humans; and they have lots of self-checkout too. I mean, it's just a grocery store, but it's a pretty good one!

The guy that owns this place is a liar. I was shopping on FB marketplace for a pet ramp or steps…read morefor my newly adopted rescue bulldog to use to get onto a very high bed. I messaged him on a Saturday for availability and measurements. He provided me with measurements that would work, and I told him I could pick it up the next day. He wasn't available and said he'd send me an invoice to pay and would hold it until Monday. To me, that meant I had until the end of the day Monday to pick it up. I got the sense it was some kind of store, but he never said so nor gave me a name or any hours of operation. Just an address. I drove just over an hour on Monday to get it, and the sign on the door said they were only open Thursday-Saturday. I messaged him, and he said I should have messaged him before coming. On Tuesday, he messaged me that he'd be there for 2 hrs, but I was on my way to work. He said he'd be there Wednesday as well and would message me when he got there. He never did so I waited until Thursday. This time, I did message before leaving so he knew I was coming. When I got there, he did not have the ramp set aside. It was still on the shelf. It had a sold sticker on it, but it was very small and on the side of the ramp where it could easily have been missed by an employee trying to sell it or a customer wanting to buy it. He had to search for it himself, and I didn't see it until he showed it to me. When I got the ramp home and set it up, it was way too small. He had told me the measurements were 42" in length and 32" in height. After measuring it, it was actually 37" in length and 20" in height. WAY off. So I messaged him yet again. He said that he "didn't know" and "based on the evidence, it appears a mistake has been made". He told me that there were no refund "papers" posted all over his store and if I hadn't stormed in rude and left rude I might have noticed. Not sure what he meant with that. Maybe he wanted to swap life stories while I was there. He kept trying to throw out excuses for the previous lack of communication but I wasn't biting. I had to get home and then to work. I'd already driven more than an hour each way twice, wasting time and gas. He offered me store credit, and said that next week he would check his warehouse for the correct ramp. I didn't need or want store credit. I needed a ramp or steps. Nor did I really want to wait another week, but I would have. However, after telling him that I did not need or want store credit and asking what the alternative was if he could not find the correct ramp, he told me that I should have brought a tape measure with me and if I didn't want store credit then there was nothing he could do for me and I should sell it on FB marketplace. He told me that I had shown up without an appointment and that I couldn't just show up and demand people to run on my time. Something I did not do, nor a business that he provided a name or hours for. He told me I should have brought my own tape measure with me and that this was FB marketplace. Why does a business need to post "no refund papers" all over the place if they're being honest about their products? Seems to me as if maybe they've had multiple issues with this kind of thing. I would humbly take my losses if this had been my mistake, but he sent me misinformation. I personally sell on Marketplace all the time and I am always very honest about what I am selling. I told him he was showing poor customer service for a business. He disagreed and said that he would not be checking his inventory or getting in any more dog ramps and that I should save my gas. This guy is the rude one. I would think two, three, and four times over before trusting him or buying anything from his store.
