Recently I have started going to this store. The cashier I have experienced the last 3 times is extremely rude. I don't k ow if its just me she is rude to, or of its everyone. The 1st time she called for people using just cards. I got in the line at her register right behind the same family that was in front of me in line to begin with. She told me the line is not there, and yelled for people using just a card again. I told her I was originally in line right behind the people who were in front of me. She rolled her eyes. I started to put my items on the counter. Her tone was really rude when she told me "your scanning stuff " I did not know the counter also has a scanner on top of it Yestrrday i askedbhow much an item was & she stated "its on the yellow sticker on the peg where you got it." I let her know they were at endnof an aisle and there no stickers. She fi ally told me the price as she rolled her eyes and acted put out I dare shop there let alone have a question. There was also black sqare things..likely from the produce case, not sure what they are called .. all over the floor with no cones or warnings... the cooler case was dark & empty. I have not seen this store in thos level of disarray before. Sorry Sutherlin Dollar General..I prefer respectful cashiers.. so I will stick to Bi-Mart if I can't get to Roseburg, as long as you allow your staff to treat customers poorly. read more

So at the end of every aisle is a bunch of boxes they need to put away. They are at the end on each side. So legally a powered wheel chair cannot get through those areas. That is a fired hazard. I don't want you to shut down again for weeks but legally this store can't be designed like this. The stuff that needs to be put away makes it impossible to even fit your cart through the middle meaning a disabled person in a wheelchair can't even shop at this store. Also trying to buy milk and you have to wait for someone to turn in cans? This is a grocery store. Get the f out the way. I was there one day two young guys wanting to return an electronic. The line started growing and wrapped around all the way to almost the milk. A manager had to come up and help with the dumb waste of time return. Have two registers open if some idiot needs to take 10 min to do a return. read more

The rude manager there yelled at my daughter and made her cry because she couldn't find the bathroom. Took the key away and made her feel like she stole something. Never once told her where the bathroom was. Then refused to give her name. I'll be reporting this to corporate. Completely unnecessary behavior by a so called adult. read more

I've worked in customer service. Retail. In an environment pretty close to this one, in fact. I understand that employees have off days. I understand that things may get chaotic. But boy, I have never been more consistently disappointed by a business. First of all, yes, the prices are good. Great. Highly recommend. But the store is so choked by carts and pallets and overstock merchandise on the floor that you can hardly walk around, let alone use one of the banana-yellow carts. The shelves are consistently in a complete disarray, with scattered packaging and open products as plentiful as they might be after a natural disaster. There is no super-visible signage to help you find what you're looking for, just a few small signs at the back ends of aisles, and good luck finding an employee to help you. Good luck finding an employee at all! If you can't glimpse them through the stacked boxes and merchandise hanging off of the shelves, you might find them behind the counter up front. Probably not, though. There were three people in line the other day before one of the employees thought to check the front register to see if she needed to return. There are three registers but I have never seen more than one used. Lastly, most of the employees that work here have a bad attitude. Plain and simple. If you hate your job so much that you have to try and ruin my day when I just swung in for a box of Cheez-Its, find another job. read more
