I can always count on Meijer to be well stocked with a big selection of exotic produce as well as the usual local produce. Everything is fresh and ripe. What don't like so much about Meijer fortunately doesn't happen very often is for example 2 summers ago meijers offered Lemon drop melons ,if you have never tried one ya should they are amazing anyway last summerthe didn't offer them??? I was so disappointed. I was able to find them at a different grocery store in town. The other reason I like shopping at Meijer is because the staff is unionized and they have health insurance and other benefits which helps that job be a living wage. However, I would say if you aren't in the city or close to it, there's really no reason to go here. The prices are slightly higher at this store compared to others about 10 minutes away, because they know you'll pay more for convenience. The inside is... fine. It's not the greatest or most clean, but it's not a dump. I will say that the staff are really nice and helpful. However, they also don't usually have many people working while I'm there.

It's almost always worth the extra 10 or so minutes to drive over to H&B, which is a real bummer since Lakeshore is within walking distance for us. I needed a bag of tortilla chips, a half gallon of milk, and something chocolaty on my recent visit and wound up spending almost $10. The chips and candy were about double what I'd expect to pay elsewhere and the milk was about 3 times what Aldi charges and double what Meijer does. The chef that had been operating their on-premises restaurant moved on to Brite Eyes but they do still offer a carry-out window in the back of the store if you need a quick meal to go.

I asked if she could put a sign up and she stated management would not allow her to put a sign up. And that management is the only ones able to do it. I asked how often managers work and she stated daily. I asked why they would not put one up, she stated that it had to be a Speedway approved sign and they don't have any.... This is another reason why I drive 15 minutes out of my way to the other location. This one ALWAYS lets me down when I go there. Thanks for the loss of air and having to drive 15 minutes on 10 psi cause you're too lazy to put a damn sign up.

Bought a soda from this gas station the attendant asked if we wanted a receipt and we said no. We…read morewent out to her pump our gas and the attendant came out and said we didn't pay for the soda that we needed to come back in to pay for it. So we went back in to pay for that soda again and finished pumping I gas. Looked at our bank account and he ran it twice for the soda. Gas station attendant had a attitude when I went back to asked. Said he wasn't going to argue with us so I asked for a managers phone number. The manager or assistant manager was not very helpful. I never heard back from anyone. That may only have been three dollars for that soda but it's still stealing from other people in the community. We will never go back to that one if it's going to continue to be that dishonest. Kind of a small community for this to be happening.
