I decided to dump all storage unit items - that has been done today. When you have a permanent headache - it is not a service. I plan my budget and it is not comfortable to have a monkey with a firearm in hands (storage manager) near you and your life. By the way - they rent this unit again (#90 unit) using the same promotion: $1 for the first month ($39 usual price plus $12 insuarance). After that they raise prices (by 50%) after 3 and 6 months (I talked to a manager). So dont be traped in this "tasty" price - it will not last for long. read more

After diligent research, Dollar Self Storage was the most affordable and convenient storage option. The office staff was professional, kind, and easy to work with (hence the extra star). Unfortunately, I received a Rental Rate Increase Notice by mail mere months after signing the agreement that my monthly rent was going to increase by $20 per month. What was once the cheapest option in Tucson quickly became one of the most expensive choices. Although the space is safe and I've had no issues, I'd likely not recommend it for this reason. read more

I was graded so friendly on the phone when I called the storage center by their manager. When I got there I was even more impressed as the place has been cleaned and sanitized and it was so neat as if it were somebody's perfectly clean house! I did not hesitate to store my goods there at all she got me in and out so quickly and explained everything to me as far as after hours that I would recommend them to anyone! I had a foot problem with my phone and I was a day late calling my payment in because my phone was not working at all due to a dog putting his through the face of the phone with his paw... But called the first thing the next morning after the repair was done and everybody was so polite and I felt very bad because I had promised to call on the first. I love their storage facility it is Unbelievably clean and smells clean... Your things are insured and it is extremely secure where you don't even have to think twice about your things until you're moving them. My house sale fell through and I was unable to get them out in the time that I thought so I had to stand in there was no problem doing so at all. If I could give them six stars I would!! I read more

My roommate and I needed a place to store our stuff while we were in transition between apartments. Kitty the owner, who also lives on the property was so helpful and accommodating. We had reserved a unit online before but it was not large enough for our things, she helped us find the right size unit and prorated it for the 10 days we needed it. The storage units are impeccably clean and the rest of the staff was very friendly. There was no pressure to sign a long contract or pay more than we needed. I highly recommend Dollar Self Storage, if I ever need a storage unit in the future, I will be coming back here. read more

The place is nice and clean, but I would not recommend this place for those searching for long time storage. Over the past two years my rent has increased by $50. When I first signed a contract in 2017 I was paying a little over $120 and since then my rent has increased to $170. I understand that sometimes the rates have to go up, but this much of an increase is ridiculous especially since I have seen no new features that have benefited me or my unit. I wish I had known that my rent rate would be changing at least twice a year when I had decided to use this place for storage. read more

To all interested parties, A few day's ago I had stopped by the storage office before I went to my unit, I was very saddened & in shock to hear that Kitty the office manager will no longer be with the company. Kitty will be greatly missed not only by myself but by many of the tenants. Kitty made the storage facility what it is today and made everyone feel welcome once they walked into the office. I have been a tenant with dollar self storage for a couple of year's now, but I will be moving out of my storage unit very soon. It's very hard to find good hard working employess who actually want to work, and will go above and beyond for an employer these day's to make a good name for themselves and for there employer!! Very clean facility located on I-10 and grant but the storage fees are too hi compared to other places but the facility keeps the property n tip top shape they also have climate controlled units if u need some during the hot summer Months overall a very clean facility with a higher then average monthly charges read more

THIS PLACE RAT INFESTED. I stored my stuff there for 3 months, and my mattress and my boxes were COVERED in RAT feces & urine. I even paid for insurance, but the management tells me they do NOT cover damages done by vermins, rats, flood, sewage water, insects, mold, any "biological or chemical" contamination, etc. etc. pretty much everything under the sun. I had to throw away my mattress, bunch of clothes, and spent the last couple days replacing what I lost. PLEASE STAY AWAY! If you want the pictures, I will forward them to you.
