You also have a good selection of holiday decorations and party favors. There is always something of a questionable nature that can be given as a gag gift and you manage to suck me in with your brand-name candies as well. You could have warned me that the NY Knicks plastic cup I bought was cracked at the register...but I suppose that it's in your favor to leave me out-of-the-loop so that I get stuck with a leaky cup and you don't have to let me exhange per your "all sales final" policy. I want my $1.05 back! Also, please note that we did figure out that trash bags were only a dollar because there are only 4 per package. That's lame. At least make it somewhat worth the dollar by putting like, 10 in there. I think it would boost sales of trash bags. I went in today to…read morespend $4,000-$5,000 on furniture locally to support small business and he was extremely upset people keep asking to buy his floor display models. I inadvertently made the mistake of apparently being the 100th person to do so in an attempt to help them during what I thought were challenging times. I completely understand I perhaps foolishly assumed all local businesses have been struggling. He and his nephew made it abundantly clear he doesn't have furniture in stock and you have to order. ETAs are this summer at best, but the companies they buy from only give him a 1 month at a time window with no guarantees. After he was done yelling at me, I said that I should post a review of my experience and he said "Please do", so here it is. If I hadnt been yelled at, I would have ordered and waited, as I have bought all my furniture there over the years. If you need something, do not offer to buy a floor model to help them out. They have plenty of money and don't need the business.

All the normal out of date, closeout and clearance items. Good clothing, appliances, tools, San Marzano Tomatoes, vacuums, international foods, bulk, you name it - it is here. This is perhaps the best cheap store of them all, only way things could be cheaper would be free, or lifted. the floor space is considerable, not costco or walmart size but surely close to 20,000 sq ft of rows of everything you can imagine. what i like at places like job lot is these items aren't part of some large corporate purchase order for generic crap, made by a supplier of generic crap. no, there are actually many producers, usually offshore, of good quality items of their kind. the only problem is, the market here is tough and not every product that's offloaded at the dock gets to play on the big grocers' stage. so whoever bought the container load at super discounted price gets to sell it to places like this, if in fact the job lot didn't actually buy the container directly at auction. that's more or less how it works, and is more or less the reason the products here are superior to whatever walmart sells and usually at a higher price as well. so that's about it, how it works. and i like this place very much for any number of reasons. but really, it needs a photo to show some respect so here for what it's worth is one. should be more...

Compared to the Shaw's down the road, they're probably a decent deal, but not compared to Market Basket and especially not to Discount Food Warehouse/Mr G's. I bought a pair of kids shoes there the same quality and price as I would expect at Walmart or Payless, so there's that, but I don't see any reason to go back.
