Well we got a cheep one and it was messed up inside of it. So we went back in and talked to who it seems to be the GM name John. He ended up getting another one just like the one I bought and it had the same defect in it. Well he ended up getting one a little bit more expensive and he helped up make sure that it worked. Lisa the cashier was very helpful also. Both people were helpful and very nice. Even though it was about 10 minutes till they closed I didn't feel like I was being rushed out at all.

Baked Goods out of a dumpster…read more Not once but twice I have purchased their pre-made baked goods from their display in front of the counter and it was trash. Lucky for me the first time a diligent young checker spotted 3 of the 4 Blueberry muffins i purchased(i have severe visual impairment) were covered in mold. But this time it wasn't visual, the Banana Nut mini-muffins were stale as little rocks. To be fair the vendor makes decent baked goods. This is TOTALLY on Pepper's for not inspecting their displays. The display baked goods are overpriced and rarely fresh but they are adequate when not spoiled. I like their muffins but I will no longer be purchasing anything off their display ever again. Once is a mistake twice is a problem. Whoever runs the Bakery is not competent or too distracted and it hurts their customers. That is all.

The very best part of my visit was being helped by the young lady behind the desk. She asked if…read morethere was anything special I was after. Yes, geodes cut and polished, as specimens for display. In the front room she had several small geodes on display. Then she took me into the next room where dozens more were on display, labeled and beautiful. She helped me find just what I was after. (see pictures) While I looked at the display cases she offered to open several boxes in back but I found everything in the cases. At some point her husband came in to also help us. Both of the couple were very helpful and friendly, totally refreshing and welcome help. Trina's has a large selection, really large, of everything rocks. The small front room has some finished items and supplies. Then the next room, very large, has display cases for specimens on one wall. On the other wall is a work area with equipment to process rocks. And in the middle are smaller rough rocks of all types in separate open boxes, sized, graded, and ready for crafting. In the back is a large supply of rocks in boxes not yet on display. Outside is a large selection of larger specimens for crafting. The shop is easy to find with plenty of parking out front. I would recommend a visit to Trina's Rock Shop if you find yourself stopping overnight or just driving through Deming. We really enjoyed our visit and found several excellent specimens to take home.

Trina and her husband were very helpful in showing us the ins and outs of what to look for in selecting eggs. My daughter bought some of the custom made jewelry that Trina had, and they were reasonably priced and beautiful! This is a very nice rock shop with a big selection of varied material. We really enjoyed our afternoon at this rock shop!

Sure, I could have run the engine all night and burned gasoline but that just seems wrong. I stopped in here to see if they had a portable air conditioner, or better yet, a swamp cooler. Lots of other people had the same idea - if they had one, it's long sold. The store is otherwise in good condition and I definitely appreciate that they allow overnight parking in their lot.
