The first time was around 4 PM, and the second was before 2 PM. If you've ever tried selling to Plato's Closet before, you already know this is the infamous reality. They have one of the worst business models I've experienced for a resale store, and it's frustrating that nearly every location seems to provide the exact same disappointing experience. The employees often come across as snobby, like they work on commission at a luxury department store and see themselves as fashion authorities. Mind you, I brought in genuinely good pieces that people in Fayetteville would absolutely buy. I had Coach bags, Marc Jacobs, Anthropologie, Lululemon, and more. So for them to advertise that they buy clothes all day, only for the rules and capacity to keep change depending on the day or time, is ridiculous. They lost out, not me. If I could leave 0 stars for every Plato's Closet location, I would. Nothing would convince me to return.
