Poor customer service. Also, some aisles have loose merchandise littered on the floor, which is a safety hazard. *It might be fun if you pretend you're on the reality show Wipeout, but I wouldn't recommend trying to navigate it in hope of winning some grand prize. * I won't be back. I should've checked the reviews. I don't remember having this kind of experience in any other Dollar Tree store. At least not yet. I've worked in retail for years. I always had to keep in mind to have good customer service skills to keep people coming back. *Unless they're trying reverse psychology to reel people in.* If so, I'm not quite sure that's working. Love the location is large and still open during the snowing day when the near by Walmart was closed. However, when I was outside the store door and check the receipt, I realized that the sale lady charged one extra can of mushroom, so we went back to talk to the sales lady. She acted like we did something wrong. (She did asked my husband to take one extra item instead of so the return process which we were fine with it.) She had a customer at that time, I understand, but she didn't even want to talk to my husband (according to him) and was not friendly at all since we went back after seeing that she charged us wrong. Before exiting the store, she said: "Are you happy now?" Not really: 1. For her attitude, NO. 2. We realized that she charged us one extra item that we didn't buy AGAIN after we got home and checked the receipt and the items that we bought. For paying extra $$$ that we didn't buy, NO. It's a louze $2 that she charged us extra, but it's the experience and the way the store manager allow the sales person to run the business the way it was, I have an issue with that. read more

This store will decline your transaction and then still charge you!! When attempting to resolve the issue, you will be told by the manager to shut up and leave his store. The lines are frequently extremely. When this happens I see one cashier ringing up a line of around twenty different groups of people. The manager on duty who is the worst about dumping the entire work load on one cashier is a very short Caucasian looking lady with grey hair. Her name is Brenda. She did this to one cashier with no warning and a big attitude at the very end of the night. Her cashier overloaded, politely asks Brenda to help ring up customers lined all the way to the middle of the store. Brenda gets an attitude with her and curtly tells her cashier that she is on break. The cashier isn't having it. She tells Brenda infront of everyone that she is calling her ride to pick her up and Brenda can close the store by herself. This cashier says Brenda has a pattern of abusing her power to terrorize people including her subordinates. That's a tyrant not a real leader. Recently I saw Brenda abandoning her cashier again, while she is just standing around doing nothing while the line has about 20 people in a hurry. About a couple of weeks ago, again it was late and about 20 people in one line with the only cashier. I politely interrupted Brenda's long personal conversation of chit chatting with her other cashier who was pretty much doing a little bit of straighting shells and a huge about of chit chatting with Brenda about nothing professional. I politely explained to Brenda that about 20 groups of people where in line all the way back to the middle of the store and only one cashier. I politely asked Brenda can she please to other cashiers to help with the work load and get customers rung up efficiently. Brenda stared at me me with a stone cold expression and tolde me, "No. No more cash registers would be opened." The line kept growing by the minute. About 20 minutes later after I sent texted pictures to the other manager named Annalisa suddenly the other cashier appears at the front to ring up customers. Brenda has no integrity and a terrible attitude that she takes out on her customers at the most inconvenient times. She is unacceptable as a manager. read more

I shop this store periodically as we enjoy large parties in our community and The Dollar Tree has some merchandise that works well for the parties and is affordable. Normally the store is busy and the staff courteous as they run the registers. Today, I had an online order to claim and I was surprised that the store was empty except for one other customer and me. She was also picking up an online order. The employee at the register had called the manager in duty to assist us in claiming our orders. After no response, the register employee called the manager again. This time the manager responded very sternly to the other employee that she was coming but she wasn't going to stop what she was doing and she wasn't going to run. The other customer had been waiting a while and she just watched the exchange. The manager got the info on the order and disappeared again. When she came back, she was almost surly to the customer. Not sure what happened but it wasn't a problem with too many customers for sure. I like the stock at this store but it might not be worth the surly behavior to shop here. I visited this Dollar Tree over the weekend [Friday 7/11, to be exact] and I can say it will be my last. I've gone there for years; 9 times out of 10 I can find exactly what I'm looking for. This is not usually typical of 'true' dollar stores, and generally a crap-shoot even when it comes to Dollar Tree stores as the one off Forest & Marsh is usually a 40% gamble, but I digress. I went to purchase 12 water bottles to decorate for my son's T-Ball team. As I was looking at an end cap near the front of the store, I hear the two women employees [later identified as Tina and Terri Lynn] talking VERY loudly about the store's current school supply donation drive. One woman said, "Why is it that every time I get a Mexican going through the line, NOT a SINGLE one will donate? I mean, EVERY TIME! And they're always Mexican!" They proceed to talk loudly for the next five minutes about how the Mexican folk must be mad because of the current issues at the border and think that America should take care of the border children, no questions asked, because they're probably illegal anyway. One woman went so far as to say that "they refuse to donate, but they're the first people in line for supply donations with their hands out for their six children!" I left my 12 water bottles on the end cap with the bubble wands and left. I will not support a store where the employees think it's perfectly acceptable to demoralize a culture so loudly and rudely. The Hispanic population in Irving south of Airport Freeway [precisely where this store has stood for years] is indeed large, and I do imagine a fair few make their way to the Dollar Tree. Tina and Terri Lynn should be ASHAMED to speak so poorly of their own customers when it's their dedicated patronage that keep the store and THEIR JOBS alive in an economy where such a thing is rare. read more

For a dollar tree store this is the best I ever seen or heard of....everything stock and put together wonderfully. I found the care and concern for clean And organization to be a above the top for most any store. Supper friendly and helpful. This people deserve a real acknowledgement from corporate. I would drive out of my way to come here if I was need of all that they offer. read more

Um , my mom and i went i didnt get off alot of outside taffic,they didnt have man ballons. Thinking it would be a big store but it wasnt. Not sure if they had all the stuff,like the online one.(summer time)sales..i guess had water tunals outside. About 6 cars outside where we were parkd.wasnt exciting for me to go in :( read more

Worst Dollar Tree ever. Holiday season is a mess, lots of foot traffic and the entire holiday section looked torn down and destroyed. Since they didn't have what I was looking for, I was in and out in less than a minute. Next year I'll skip this location and head to the one on Forest & Marsh like the other reviewer (I actually found what I was looking for there a week after this experience). read more

Stay away! Their shelves are a mess, merchandise all over the floor. Staff may, or may not, pick up something off the floor, but they just toss it in the piles of chaos. Somewhere underneath all the piles is ready-to-purchase items... If you can find it. Avoid this store!! read more

Not the most organized store, but I always find what I'm looking for. My review is for one of the cashiers. Bertha! Good lord, girl... Lay off the attitude!
