I came to know about this place from Facebook - I follow their page (District 635) on there and was really impressed with the color palettes that they use and the uniqueness of the items they show on there. The store itself is just as impressive. They go to other furniture/ decor places and get their closeouts and sell them here. While they advertise that their prices are significantly less for designer pieces, I do not see much financial savings, HOWEVER, I am willing to pay their prices because, as I said, mostly everything in here is extremely unique. I will say this - I saw a coffee table here made out of a Russian boat propeller with a glass top (super cool and different!) for $2300 and it was $4000 at Restoration Hardware ... so that's something, right? :) They constantly get new pieces in, so you have to check back frequently. They are only open Thursday-Sunday, so you really want to try to get there Thursday to see the best things that they have to offer for the week. For the most part, you buy right off the floor. Sometimes they will have a few duplicate items from the floor back in their warehouse, but this is one of those places where when you see something you like, you better buy it because it may not be there next time. *Note: They are connected to The Dump, however, the styles/ selection is nothing like the The Dump. Trust me, I don't like The Dump either.

I was a little surprised how messy the store was. I guess it had been busy and the clutter was from that? I found a few bargains, even when I was rushing. I have my a table, two tv stands, sectional couch, three end tables, coffee table, bed set, armoire, four rugs, three lamps and a Tempurpedic from the Dump and I'm proud of all of it and have never found a better deal anywhere else! Amy is my girl. She takes the best care of me and knows me very well. If you seek Amy, you'll find yourself in good hands. However, when I was outside the store door and check the receipt, I realized that the sale lady charged one extra can of mushroom, so we went back to talk to the sales lady. She acted like we did something wrong. (She did asked my husband to take one extra item instead of so the return process which we were fine with it.) She had a customer at that time, I understand, but she didn't even want to talk to my husband (according to him) and was not friendly at all since we went back after seeing that she charged us wrong. Before exiting the store, she said: "Are you happy now?" Not really: 1. For her attitude, NO. 2. We realized that she charged us one extra item that we didn't buy AGAIN after we got home and checked the receipt and the items that we bought. For paying extra $$$ that we didn't buy, NO. It's a louze $2 that she charged us extra, but it's the experience and the way the store manager allow the sales person to run the business the way it was, I have an issue with that.
