Easy shopping experience. Went in for one thing and left with that item. Was able to pay for the item in electronics. The cashier was very personable and helpful. The only bad part about the experience was the WiFi was slow in the back of the store and it made it hard to pull up my Target red card app in order to pay. I remember when I loved going to Target. It was fun! Unfortunately, not anymore. I only come to this store specifically because it's the only nearby Target, and I don't enjoy my visits. The traffic patterns in the parking lot are a nightmare, in general. Getting in and out, parking and even crossing the street in the crosswalk into the front entrance feels dangerous because another driver might hit me. Unless you visit early in the morning, the parking lot, store and checkouts are crowded. Worst of all, there are frequently items out of stock and missing at this store. I have never once visited and found everything on my list. They used to ask me if I found everything I needed - when I said "no" they never offered to help so I have to wonder why they kept asking me? On this visit (first week of January 2025), there is now a sign that self-check is limited to 10 items or less. That meant that I had to wait in a line to check out with a cashier. He was very nice, but probably the slowest cashier I have ever experienced at any store in my life. This will likely be one of my last visits to this location. There have been some other general corporate changes over the last couple of years that make me consider closing my Target credit card and switching my spending over completely to an alternative: 1. Changes to their coupon policy "to prevent fraud" by insisting that they are in a database means that they no longer accept most of the otherwise valid manufacturers coupons that I bring into the store. Although not how they worded their policy change, functionally they pretty much only accept Target/manufacturer coupons added digitally in their app now. Without coupons, I can often find a better price at a drugstore and spend less of my time doing so.; 2. Changes to the Target app and Circle program. In theory, this would mean that I don't have to spend my time loading coupons in the app every Sunday morning because they are supposedly already active. What I have noticed since the changes is that far fewer coupons are applied to my orders.; and 3. Food Allergy Labeling: When they changed their store brand awhile back, far fewer of their products that *should be naturally gluten-free were marked gluten-free. As someone with Celiac Disease, that means I can't buy them. Other things like salted nuts all are almost all marked as processed with wheat. Again, I can't buy them; and 4. (Not a change.) Target doesn't let you use your flex spending card first to pay only for flex spending OTC purchases like some other retailers. If I buy something like OTC ibuprofen, I need to print, scan and submit the receipt to my flex spending for a reimbursement. To this day, Target remains one of my favorites jobs. I worked at a location near campus in college. The managers treated associates well, empowered us to resolve customer issues and created a healthy work environment. I actually learned a lot from those days. One of the staples at Target is customer service. They were adamant about greet customers that were within 10 feet. A simple "Hello" or, "Is there anything I can help with find?" sufficed. This Target doesn't have the faint excuse of being in a college town. Many of the associates seem like they'd rather not be there. It was difficult to find help and when I did they just pointed me in a direction. They're actually trained to walk you the item you're looking for. The shelves aren't stocked well or organized. Just on the Starbucks alone, completely unprofessional, nothing in stock extremely rude behavior. I simply asked for a coffee which the empty cup sat there on the counter and I had to ask for them to pour it for me. Then they realized they didn't have any fresh coffee and they couldn't give me a refund because they never provided me a receipt and they were uncooperative over a simple cup of coffee. I recently moved to the area and am beyond disappointed that this is the closest Target to me. All around BAD!!! 1. Starbucks is always out of something! 2. The sales floor is not maintained- product literally covering the floor. 3. Drive up is not quick and efficient! I picked up an order a few days ago and censors were left on the items. When I notified the team member, she told me to go to guest services....what's the point of using drive up if I have to go inside. She ended up taking my order back in and returned with an attitude tossing the bag through my window. I have never had a bad experience at any Target until now. This Target is currently under construction which means that a lot of the things I normally go to Target for are either unavailable or behind a plastic tarp that I'm not allowed to go through (according to the sales associate who had to take me away from the plastic, DARN THEM!). However, the customer service here is always really good, I can never remember what I'm looking for when I'm getting medicine so I always end up having to ask the pharmacists for specific brand names. They are always smiling and helpful, which makes my experience better. This one has always been super clean but now that it's under construction it's dirty, which is always a big drawback for me. The reason why I drove out here is because they had 7 boxes of diapers, come to find out it was just one. So when I get here I now get told it's been one box. So now I am stuck like chuck picking to either get this one box or not. The customer service rep that assisted me named Debbie could care less on offering a discount for the screw up the did, and for wasting my time. Coming to some target locations now is starting to stoop to the same level of customer service as Walmart. I think the manager of this store may be trying to actively injure the customers, since there are things set out in the middle of the floor that should be put away on shelves, or in the back. We had to avoid three different things set in the floors just to get through the aisles. Since I am visually impaired, I'm glad my wife was with me to help me maneuver through the store. Additionally, the store was pretty dirty. It was obvious that the floors needed a good cleaning. Finally, there are employees blocking the exits, I assume to perhaps inhibit shoplifting, but either way I think it's probably against fire regulations to actively block exits. I think one of the two of them WAS the manager. Definitely giving off a prison vibe. read more

I used to love Target ... Not so much since my cards and information were compromised, but I've still been a loyal consumer. However, this location is hands down the worst I have ever experienced. My most recent, and last experience here consisted of lazy customer service, poorly stocked shelves, and a cashier who confirmed my decision to never give this location my business again. Let me share a story. The main issue consisted of me quickly finding some 18" doll accessories on a lunch break and then going through a nightmare. 1st issue: Multiple items were priced incorrectly 2nd issue: Cashier didn't listen or care that the items were priced wrong and suggested I either pay the scanned price ($5+ per item) or go clear to the back of the store again and find something else. 3rd issue: I elected to find something else because these were to be gifts for my daughter's birthday and she wanted specific things. I picked up several extra items just in case a few were priced wrong and went back to the same cashier. Everything again rang up wrong. I couldn't believe it. 4th issue: Given the same ultimatum 5th issue: I asked for mgmt and was directed to find one at photo center.... But nope, she was at the cafe. I explained issue to which she only credited like $2.00. 6th issue: My time was wasted, and every single encounter was a disaster and a poor excuse of any type of service. I was appalled and will literally never give a dime to this Target again. read more

What a damn shame! Placed an order on target.com for a bike. That's my only way of getting to work for the moment. I just landed this job, a good job too. So I called in the morning before I went to pick it up see if it's ready. Guess what . . . THEY SOLD IT. They didn't have another one. Priceless. Even more priceless when i called the store and the person couldn't help me, I asked to speak to a manager. I was speaking to the store DIRECTOR Christina or (Kristina) turns out she couldn't do a damn thing. Called target.com they said the card has it on hold. So I asked, on hold? I can't use my money to buy a bike elsewhere? Mind you that's all I have. She said to call the bank and tell them to put a stop to that order. I did. We called the bank they said the funds are available. So off to the store to try and find another bike. I sure hope they are not bullshitting me. Nice to know customer service sucks in some retail places. Now I am scrambling (on dart bus NO LESS) to try and find another bike that will last me a little while while I save money to buy a car. I just had the best experience with a Cashier at Target in my entire 47 years of life. I'm definitely going to fill out their survey but had to share how great Lathesia is at her job! I had to be at the airport in California at 5:15am this morning to fly here for work. I didn't sleep well (maybe 2 1/2 interrupted hours total) last night. I got off the plane, got my rental car and went straight to the office. I worked until almost 6pm. I wanted nothing more than to hole up in my hotel room, sleep, and not speak to anyone until I was forced to at work again tomorrow. I knew I needed groceries and some toiletries for the next 2 weeks and if I went to the hotel, it wasn't gonna happen. So I forced myself into the store (and almost walked out just out of exhaustion). I got in a very long line but it was moving impressively quickly. I started paying attention to Lathesia. She was treating every customer like they were her next door neighbor. She was efficient and really seemed to connect with each person she helped. As it was my turn, she asked me if I had a Target card... and then she added "Or the App". I order on the App for pickup on my way home from work in California all the time. I had no idea you could use it in store too! NO ONE has ever asked me that before (I shop at Target weekly). She then showed me how to use it in store and saved me $$ by using rewards money I didn't even realize I had (or had been losing all the other times I was in store shopping). She turned my day around with her kindness and helpfulness. Thank you Lathesia!!!!!! You deserve a raise and a promotion to train all others to be as great at customer service as you! read more

Your Starbucks: I ordered a grande pike place coffee and waited for 10 minutes before they told me the coffee was cold and it would be a long wait for another batch to be made. I didn't have time to wait so asked for a refund. The cashier told me she can't refund as she didn't print me a receipt and without a receipt I can't get a refund. This was not my problem she didn't give me a receipt so I asked for her to fix the issue. She started arguing with me and speaking very aggressively asking if I had ever worked in a service job before. In the end a colleague stepped in and said she could get me a refund but I'd have to wait for a manager who was on lunch. We left the store without a refund as we couldn't wait any longer. Terrible service, argumentative and rude employees. Nobody expects to go to target and be spoken to in that manner. There was not much of an issue - just a simple refund however the blonde girl got an attitude and wanted to argue and be rude. Better customer service training is required. read more

Horrible customer service. The employee I encountered here was utterly mannerless. I was walking out of the store after making my purchase and there was plenty of room at the exit. Out of nowhere a Hispanic woman pushing a cart pushes the cart directly in front of me and almost runs me over. I had to sidestep before being hit. There are 2 Targets that I love in the Metroplex. This one and the one in Arlington. This Target is always clean, organized, and employees make sure they run it efficiently. I am super disappointed in this target location. I have come here multiple times and it seems to be very trashed and unorganized. Tonight I went to get a toy for my baby but it was in the wrong location, being on a shelf that said $24.99 and when I went to price check it, it came out to $49.99. This was very deceiving and I was upset because I had driven there late at night to just be let down. Then I walked through the shoe area and you could barely even walk without stepping on shoes that were strewn all over the floor. read more

Customer service is subpar to say the leas. Olivia who's "in charge" of kids apparel is terribly rude. The general manger needs to reconsider who is being placed in leadership roles. I placed a pick up order several hours before closing only to not actually be able to pick up my groceries. Apparently they were short staffed for the day, so rather than informing customers that orders weren't going to get completed they communicated nothing. When I called 20 minutes before closing to find out what was happening Olivia and Karen offered no solution, Olivia continuously spoke over me in a rude, loud tone while laughing at me being rightfully upset. I will absolutely avoid this location, even with it being less than 10 minutes from my home. Had I been properly informed of the staffing issues of the day I would have made other arrangements, now I am to go without because of pure incompetence. I absolutely love Target - I only live a few minutes from this location so it's really convenient! They have a Starbucks inside which is great. They don't have much of a grocery section (compared to other Target's I've been to) but I do my grocery shopping elsewhere anyways so that's a minor problem. However, I do household shopping there. The quality is SO MUCH better than Wal-Mart's. I also get my prescriptions there - they have an awesome pharmacy staff! Super nice & always helpful, hardly ever a line. Not sure how the other employees are since I just go to self-checkout. Overall, wonderful Target location! read more

This is a condensed store with a full grocery inside. The layout is fine which allows a quick in and out. They seem to push the self check out which I normally don't like working while I am not getting paid. Perhaps self check out should provide a 5-10% discount to encourage more participation. read more
