omg, they did it again! this is my 2nd review about this store charging a bag fee even when you don't get a bag. Last time I used a gift bag I was purchasing at the time to put my other items in, was charged the $0.10 bag fee. This time I brought a reusable bag, and was still charged the $0.10 bag fee! read more

they have all these mop heads, broom heads, and attachments but never have the poles needed to use them. Ive come on three separate times and they never have the poles. That whole isle is useless if you cant buy the pole for the attachments. Also, the store stinks!! read more

Had to get more Christmas wrapping paper, but I was able to find something better. I found large Christmas bags so that I don't have to use so much paper. Plus, large bows to match. Most the Christmas decorations were gone. Just a select few left, but the shelves are mostly bare which is understandable since Christmas is only 4 days away. By the way, I didn't notice until today, most of the items that I bought were $1.25 now. Cashier was friendly and fast. Got what I needed and left. read more

My children and I were shopping this afternoon. It was chore day and we needed to grab some new supplies. My 3 year old son was picking sponges, he went to reach for a different package and a mouse trap snapped onto his fingers!!! I can't even imagine what they were thinking setting that on a shelf! They excused this by say they are normally "under the shelves." That is a terrible excuse. My son was hurt buy! Furthermore they sell food here!!! That has to be a health code violation.. I like this Dollar tree it has a lot of cool stuff. From crafts to school supplies, candy, toys, party supplies, and household goods. U name it you'll probably find it here. Nice clean set-up friendly staff. A little slow at ringing people up. Usually only one cash register open. They definitely need to open more than one!!! Parking lot is dirty! read more

Just horrible!!!! I walk into this dollar tree, there is a woman checking out, you can clearly tell she is going through chemo and the Cashier lascher is just coughing, and does not have her mask on properly, the woman checking out asked if she had been tested, and this cashier proceeded to start cussing and being very rude in front of the customers, now if I was going through chemo i sure would not want any type of germ around me, how dare that cashier act that way, but what gets me the most is nothing will be done about it, none of the other cashiers stopped her from talking that way. The store is dirty, I did not see any type of sanitation of the machines after uses,there is stuff all in the isles, just unorganized......I will NEVER go back to this dollar tree ever!!!!! read more

I came into this Dollar Tree to grab a few things, one of them being water because I'm pregnant and was feeling dizzy. I put my items on the belt and was leaning against my cart because I'm almost 6 months pregnant. All of a sudden an employee comes up from behind me and pushes the cart away from me and tells me she needs it. I was so surprised because I was literally just leaning against it when she pulled it away from me. I understand that I could not take the cart out of the store but I was using it to steady myself because I was dizzy. Not in any way appropriate. read more

What can you expect when the manager is rude to you? I called dollar tree at 8:50pm to ask if they had any hats for New Year's Eve, the person on the phone said yes. I was like oh good but then I realized & said you guys close at 9 though. She replied no, we close at 9:30. So I get to dollar tree and the door is locked. I was like why is it locked? I saw a girl which I thought was the person I spoke to on the phone. She looked at me and mumbled something and walked away. I'm standing outside waiting and I see another employee looking at me. He looked like he was worried about me standing outside and gets the other girl & still no one comes to the door. Then this lady comes stomping her way to open the door mumbling shit like she was all mad. She said we're closed! I said I just called and the girl I spoke to said you guys close at 9:30. She responded rudely "no one here told you anything. I'm the manager and we've been here since February and we close at 9"! She continued with "my registers are closed & I can't do anything. Apparently I called a different dollar tree that closes at 9:30. This one closes at 9. I told her no need for your attitude. She said "oh I'm not giving you attitude bye! and closed the door on me. Wrong store or not, the "manager" at this location should not have acted the way she did with me. She should have said I'm sorry mam you probably called the wrong store, but we're closed & that's it. I would have left ok with that. So F this store & manager with an attitude you can kiss my a$$. You are a rude lady! read more

My son and I visited this store 1035 W Highland Ave, San Bernardino, CA 92405 today ( 6/2/19 ) around 630 PM to purchase a few items. We were walking down the toy aisle when we over heard an employee named Kim speaking in a very unprofessional way. She was having a conversation with a guest and another employee ( name unknown). In the conversation she was having she was cursing and speaking about gang violence that someone she knew were involved in. I find it very unprofessional to be having that kinda of conversation and cursing at work in front of guest, mostly in the toy section. I think she needs some coaching to help her understand, that kinda of conversation and the language she was using needs to be out of the work environment.
