The cashiers have to go on the floor and verify and then I'm not giving you the sale price even though it says it they says in the wrong spot the cash register is not ringing up the right stuff. It's a madhouse in here and it's crazy and it's not fun. The store is cluttered stuff is on the floor stuff is not where it supposed to be. They should have hiring now for seasonal so they can have people stacking up on the baskets outside and keeping the area clean in the store at all times now the question is do I go to Walmart and deal with them or come back here and deal with this all Big lots stores have closed around except for this one so I came here to support, but the staff is not helping!

We bought a pack of Reese's and found maggots in it after EATING a couple of Reese's. Please check your items carefully. Also, when buying cake mixes, look for holes or damages and check the expiration date, because I've found bugs in some of them. Overall, I really like shopping here, just be careful and check your products.

Several people on here claimed they waited in line for 45mins and the employees were rude....Lol....I only waited for 10 - 15 minutes each time. However, the customer service I received from Carina, the cashier, was so herrendous that I will not be returning. The 1st incident... I stood next to my mom with my shopping cart as we were discussing other items I needed to purchase from another nearby store. Right before I could finish my sentence, Carina LOUDLY said, "Ma'am, we only have one line so please get behind her." I mentioned we were together and she ignored me. 2nd incident... While I was shopping, I found a toy in the clearance section that I wanted to buy for my Special Education class that would have been a GREAT non-edible reinforcer. When I told her I got it from the clearance section, but it didn't have a tag... Right away her response was, "Well another customer put it there." I responded with, "Well there were about 3 or 4 of the same toy in the clearance section. So, if it isn't clearance I don't want it." She told me she'd check. She called someone and hung up and said, "Like I said it isn't clearance and someone put it there." I let her know again, "Then I don't want it." As she finished ringing me up, I asked, "Do you have a teachers discount?". Very rudely, she said you need a teachers card. So, as I reached for my ID badge and said, "Like my ID?" She rudely said, "No, a teacher debit card." I explained to her that wasn't a thing and the majority of school district uses PO's. She completely rubbed me the wrong way from when I first got in line until I left. Tried to see if I could contact Hobby Lobby, but they only take phone calls or you can physically write a letter. Maybe you should have a survey on your receipt, so Ya'll know how your employees are treating customers. The people stocking the store were much more helpful and cheerful than she was. Maybe Carina should be pulled for a bit, if she can't show GREAT customer service.

I've been so excited to get a Daiso closer to home and finally got a chance to check this one out…read more I was actually looking for something specific to get but this store didn't have it, guess I'll need to make the trip to SJ after-all. The store is pretty standard, if you've been to a Daiso, you'll know what you're walking into. They have the variety of usual things, though not everything I have typically found at other locations. I came looking specifically for metal chopsticks that come with a case you can carry in your purse, sadly they did not have this. They also didn't have regular stainless steel chopsticks (wanted to get some for bfs house) and I couldn't find a particular small spatula. But I was happy to find some cute reusable bags, small gift bags, pens and other office supplies, and small bowls that match what I already have and use daily. Most items are $1.75, but not all, so be sure to pay attention to the tags. They have signs up converting yen to dollars all over so you can check. There was a good amount of staff who greet you promptly as you walk in and help with check out. I was happy to see a self checkout option (two kiosks) so you can get through the checkout quicker- it's card only though so if you're paying cash you'll have to wait for a cashier.
