The quality of service products and organization is lacking at MOST dollar tree stores in the DMV area. Poorly staffed for sure.

I love rummaging the housewares and this section was small and just a jumbled mess. They have racks and racks of clothing so maybe that's what all the hype is about. But I felt claustrophobic walking through those aisles. Entrance/exit was tights and hard to navigate when there's a lien to check out.

I was just out for a minute on this day, hopping from one thrift store to the next. And without any luck whatsoever. Coming here was kind of a mistake. I should have taken tripping over the entrance as my warning, but I guess I'm a glutton for punishment and decided to venture in anyway. I wanted to check out the furniture section as I have something in mind and when I see it, it will just click. However, forget about browsing this furniture section as a multitude of customers find this to be a seating area instead of merchandise to purchase. No matter how many times you go to view the items, or how many times you want to look at something behind them, they will not move and seem to not understand that for purchase does not mean you can sit all day until you are ready to head out again. I did browse a bit, but did not find anything that caught my eye. It might be the selection they had overall, but I didn't see anything at all that was appealing to me. I did scope out the dinnerware and what not, but after not really seeing anything I made my way out. Without tripping this time.

They also have really good prices on books. I left without any clothes, but i did buy a stack of books. This place probably has the best prices around for books. It's kind of small, with a limited selection of options. I took the bus here, which was an hour each way, so i wouldn't recommend it if you also rely on public transportation. I spent less than an hour here. Items you can find: men's, women's, and children's clothes, as well as some furniture, and books. Here's a price breakdown: Colors are mixed together and everything is loosely arranged by size, so it's not terribly well- organized. I found size 0 clothes next to L and XL, so I'm honestly not too sure how it's organized here. By style? The prices are kinda all over the place. Like i saw a few Forever 21 dresses for $10, which I'm pretty sure is how much they'd cost new in that store. Not many cars were in the garage on a Sunday night. I needed milk, but I also came to buy some pastries for breakfast. I got pumpkin scones and almond croissants. Both were good, but not the most flavorful. I'm kind of partial to my French bakeries in Bethesda. However, if parking is always this easy, then I may make this my regular Whole Foods over Downtown Silver Spring. You do need to take a ticket, but then you self stamp your ticket at the machine by the door like the WF in College Park. It was very dark when I exited and took a few wrong turns to get back home the easy way. I will try again!

I walked here to go on a grocery run as my last errand of the day. I have poor eyesight when I do not wear contacts, and I did not wear contacts on this grocery run. Whenever I saw something I was interested in buying, I held it right up to my face to make sure that I had the right item. During this time, something else was right up in my face---the store clerk. A woman had pointed at me and presumably said something negative about me ("He must be a thief! Don't you see that he doesn't have 20/20 vision?") I was just trying to mitigate the effects of my poor eyesight. After that woman pointed at me, the store staff followed me around the store as they would a suspected shoplifter, even though I have been a regular customer for years; literally since the day that this store opened, and far longer than that woman. Overall, it was an extremely disappointing experience. Is this how you treat your shoppers with disabilities?
