Upon walking into the store, there was a security guard at the entrance who seemed to be mean mugging customers-maybe to deter thievery. But really, it's just off putting. And I walked in and didn't feel comfortable enough to look around after making my return. On the other hand, the customer service was efficient and cordial. Parking is also a plus since lot is big and doesn't seem to be a busy shopping center. On brief inspection, the selection doesn't seem as nice and diverse as other locations in the area. But its worth making quick stop! i recommend

I've come here a bunch of times, but today was by far my best experience!…read more I came in fully expecting to order tires and have to come back another day for installation. I went to the Tire Center and met Richard, who took the time to review my previous tire order from five years ago. While looking it over, he noticed a discrepancy between the tire size I had purchased and the recommended size for my car. Instead of just relying on what was in the system, Richard had me pull my car around to the back so he could personally check the recommended tire size. That extra step really stood out to me and was above and beyond what I expected. He confirmed that the previous set of tires I purchased here were actually not the correct size for my car. We picked out the correct tires, and just my luck, they were in stock! Even better, it was only an hour before closing and they were still able to get me taken care of. I walked in expecting to place an order and come back later, and I'm leaving today with a brand-new set of properly sized tires. I'm thrilled with the service and really appreciate Richard's attention to detail. He could have easily just sold me another set based on my previous purchase, but instead he took the time to make sure I was getting exactly what my car needed. Excellent customer service! Thank you Richard!

I appreciated that the DC Metro Police were onsite and it made us feel good to see them; instead of the Natl Guard. Our shopping was seamless and quick. There are items here that are not in CA Costcos. We were happy to see how organized and well maintained the merchandise is here. The only thing that we couldn't find was coffee creamer. In CA, the creamer is in the dairy freezer room, but not here. The food court has a Caramel Brownie Sundae that we do not have in CA. It's $2.99 but huge and looks yummy. We ordered a half cheese half pepperoni pizza and a chicken bake. Waiting on the pizza is a long 15min from ordering but I am sure it is worth the wait. I will update the review if it's not good.

We're here for Hard Times Café mostly, but I've had Mama Lucia's before and it's solid pizza. I'd dig the Home Depot and Shoppers Food Warehouse being in the same place as well, if I lived close enough. There's actually a parking garage downhill, which makes the whole thing a bit odd, but I have to imagine it's a boon during move-in week. Oh, and there's a Starbucks too. I mean... it's a Starbucks. Doesn't that automatically make the joint convenient? Speaking of convenience, it's located on Cherry Hill Rd., and NOT directly off of Route 1! Could you imagine the traffic if it were? That's actually a great feature about the place. It's pretty easy to get in and out of. So, it's awesome for having the chili joint that we love, but also for the other services here too. Never had an issue with any of the shops... just the parking spaces.

Review for HomeGoods - Laurel, MD (August 25, 2025, 12:30 PM)…read more My experience at the Laurel, MD HomeGoods on Monday, August 25th at 12:30 PM was shockingly poor. I was assisted by the Assistant Store Manager, Veda, whose rude, dismissive, and unprofessional behavior was appalling. As a loyal HomeGoods customer who spent $600-$800 at this location the prior week and over $1,000 at nearby locations, I was stunned by the lack of basic courtesy. From the start, Veda offered no greeting and carried an annoyed, impatient attitude. I came in to return four items with a valid receipt, but instead of helping, she immediately looked for reasons to deny my return. She repeatedly stated: "The description is not for these items," and when I asked her to clarify, she refused, saying: "I'm not going to tell you that" and "I don't have to." This is completely unlike any other HomeGoods experience I've had, where employees clearly explain receipt discrepancies and process returns efficiently. When processing the remaining two items, Veda again checked the system and incorrectly claimed one item was not on my receipt. When I corrected her, she responded only with a dismissive "Oh." She even attempted to break open a sealed box to inspect its contents, despite the box clearly being unopened. The entire interaction was unnecessarily hostile, rushed, and unprofessional. I later called another HomeGoods location. The manager there reviewed the department numbers, confirmed the items matched, and processed my return immediately, highlighting the stark contrast in customer service. Before driving 45 minutes, I returned to Laurel to ask Veda for her full name and title. Again, she was dismissive, refusing to provide complete information and saying: "You are the one with the nasty attitude. I do not care how much money you spent at this location." This behavior reflects poorly on both Veda and the store's management. Good customer service requires patience, communication, and a willingness to resolve legitimate issues - all of which were completely absent. I contacted HomeGoods Customer Service the following day; the representative apologized, documented my complaint, and promised a call from store or regional management within 24 - 48 hours. As of September 3, 2025, I have received zero follow-up. It is alarming that this is not an isolated incident; multiple reviews confirm Veda has treated other customers similarly. Laurel HomeGoods management should understand that experiences like this drive away loyal customers. I deserve a formal apology, but I will never return to this location and will actively discourage clients from shopping there. This is a clear reminder that good customer service is not optional - it is essential for maintaining trust, loyalty, and a positive reputation. Buyer beware: I gave Laurel HomeGoods time to address my concerns, but they failed. Check the reviews - Veda is a recurring problem, and management seems unbothered by her behavior.
