It seems like a more recently added store. INVENTORY: The inventory is pretty minimal at this store. While all the main categories are present, most shelves are bare. Bare shelves are present for various categories - Christmas decor, toilet paper, and everything in between. I haven't seen any other as bare DT stores. Despite this I easily found what I was looking for to make a vision board - glue, scissors, and poster paper. SERVICE: The service here is very mediocre. No greeting, no cordial behavior. I wasn't impressed with the service. PARKING: There is a small parking lot in front of the store. At night it's very dark, and not inviting. I wasn't happy about shopping here in the evening. New Year Eve decor is already available at the store. You'll find paper glasses, champagne flutes, noisemakers, garlands, and plenty of confetti. No cheesy must-have crowns here! If you're looking for something simple and want a quick store run, stop in. If you prefer variety, find another Dollar Tree store. It's not a store that I'll make my routine stop.

My last visit I purchased a few drinks from the cooler and the cashier forgot to give me the bag. I didn't realize until I got home. I didn't have time to rush back same day but when I had the time to return later the following week and informed them of this they said there was nothing they could do. It only costed $10 but it is the principle.

How come there are 6 self-checkouts, however customers are not allowed to use them now? Corporate makes the already over-worked employees (mainly one) check people out on the self-checkout machines. Last time I went, that caused a line because one employee worked on the self checkout machine while the other 5 or so were closed while it was super busy. People around me were starting to complain. If it's the fear of theft, I have an idea. Open up the self-checkouts and have an employee check receipts and items to make sure that they match up.

With items no one knew they needed (because they don't) and odd unsalable outcasts from other stores, you are sure to find a 99 cent treasure or two. Who cares if the the undershirts they sell are marked irregular- with Marc's low prices on fiber, you can be sure that even if your shirts aren't regular, that you are. Stop in and stay a while!

But the amount of expired food being sold and the length of the expirations have had a huge increase recently. Hummus - over a month expired. Yogurt - a few weeks. Bread was one of the things we didn't pay much attention to, until a recent purchase of hamburger buns molded after two days and we realized they were expired by several weeks. So, WATCH THOSE DATES, and shame on Marc's for putting that stuff on the shelves.

Furniture Pickup Review: I just purchased furniture (chair) from HomeGoods. I used their hold…read moreoption. That means I purchased a chair and picked it up on another day (it's held for 72 hours). I witnessed some inefficiencies which discouraged me from purchasing additional furniture. It was challenging to find someone at the store to ask how to initiate furniture purchase as the first timer. I almost gave up. I had to then wheel my chair through the entire store. I wonder what happens with heavier furniture. After filling out some paperwork, I was able to store my chair in store. I asked how delivery of other furniture works and ballpark price. I was told that I need to get in touch with delivery company via app or phone to plan after purchase. That's wonderful that delivery partner exists, but that discouraged me from buying two other items. It seems reasonable to provide customers with more details surrounding furniture delivery partner and expectations (delivery distance, turnaround time, and process). At pickup, I called the store to check how to pickup furniture. It wasn't really explained during payment. The store's employee transferred me from TJ Maxx to HomeGoods like they're worlds away. The entire process started to finish was not the smoothest. I really felt like employees didn't have any interest in answering any furniture questions and wanted to detach from the experience. While I love the value at HomeGoods, I won't be getting more furniture that I can't transport simply because I don't understand the process after asking multiple associates. It shouldn't be this difficult.
