You can get some typical souvenirs and signage to decorative guns, and other really interesting looking pieces. In the front of the store was a small wagon with a huge metal ant on it. I know, how random but the kids loved it so we had to stop. The shop is full of knick knacks displayed from floor to ceiling. The curvy, windy aisles lead you to the adult material mags in the back. Just FYI in case you want to prevent children or others with sensitive eyes from being upset...or turned on.

I know that's an important thing in a sodas drinker's life! Candy bars that are typically $1.20 or more, are only .89. Grab bags of chips that typically are sold for $1.79 are only $1 here. As part of the Provigo franchise they maintain the same price levels as the other Provigos one might go to. They are not the cheapest supermarket chain in town (for that go to Super C, but you get what you pay for). This Provigo does sometimes have fantastic specials. I just stocked up with 32 pounds of hamburger at only $2.59 a pound! Beat that anyone? Last time I was there, I went nuts on bacon for $1.99 per half kilo! (Gotta love chest freezers.)

My bf's pair in particular is getting to be in dire need of replacement. I decided to surprise him with a brand new pair for Christmas, though he knows I'm in the process of knitting him a pair of slippers (which will be rightfully ignored with the new mocassins!) I could not remember the name of the place nor exactly where they were in town and so instinct was my driver. The first turn was right, but then I lost myself somewhere down the unmarked residential streets of town and had just resigned myself to heading back home over the bridge, with the intention of just telling my bf about the thoughtful gift I couldn't quite get on Christmas morning. When what to my wondering eyes did appear: " Wolf's Den, Mocassins, Gifts, Beads etc. ", instinct took the wheel and signaled left and turned in. I was not at all on the road I remembered it being on and first turned down. I had only gotten there because I got lost and decided to give up and go home empty handed. Christmas miracle folks. I walked in.. And knew I was in the right place. The service was fabulous, they were happy to hear my tale about their mocassins lasting over 10 years and to help me find a brand new pair. Then they told me it's an extra 10% off (on top of tax being included) for the last week before Christmas sale! They totally could have charged full price and I would have been happy to oblige. On top of authentic mocassins at super reasonable prices, they also sell plenty of beading material, furs for crafting, jewellery, clothing, souvenirs etc. Definitely worth checking out! I will be back, sooner rather than later to replace my own pair too!
