My sweetie got me into shopping in dollar stores, and for the most part, a Dollarama is a Dollarama. They're laid out similarly, and they carry similar products, although we have learned to try multiple locations if we're looking for something specific, because we've learned that we can find stuff in other Dollaramas that we've never seen in the one closest to us.
Although this particular Dollarama is a particular favourite of ours, partly because we just like Port Colborne. (It's kind of cool to say freighters cruising through the countryside, albeit a little disconcerting if you didn't know the canal was there.) We also like it because it's right next to a No Frills, across the street from a Harvey's, and not too far from Food Basics, so we can score a lot of what we're looking for in a single trip. read more
