The Outlet Collection mall is a popular open air mall in Niagara-on-lake. There are lots of outdoor areas to lounge and sit if you're not interested in shopping. There was live music playing around the food truck area. The parking lot is large but if you come late you will have trouble finding parking. The food court has a good mix of restaurants like Big Smoke burger, Jimmy the Greek, Bourbon grill, Szechuan, Subway, Aroma Espresso, Sushi , etc. I love this mall because it's pet friendly and lots of areas to sit and relax. As for winter time, there are some areas where you are covered from the elements. There are washrooms spread across the mall and signage is clear. If you go on long weekend holiday there are some special sales. This mall is a must stopover on your way to Niagara Falls. read more

This outlet area is very clean. It has tumi and lululemon. The prices and deal were solid. The staff were very nice and accommodating.

I often stop here when I'm passing by on my way to her from Toronto. There's usually pretty easy parking, and the bathrooms are clean. They have an outside area with a bunch of different food trucks, which pretty much have something for everyone. There's also a very nice easy access seating right in the middle of all the food trucks. It makes for a great environment. When I was here recently, on a Sunday afternoon, the mall was very busy. It's great to see that. 3 stars for this large chain. I default chains to 3 stars as they must be A-OK to expand as they have. read more

My family and I would always like to make a stop here during our road trip before we cross the border to U.S to do a little bit of shopping. The outlet is quite big with various stores such as Roots, Nike, Adidas, Coach, Michael Kors, Gap etc. Those are typically the stores I check out when I'm there. Sometimes it feels like it's a hit or miss in terms of sales. But I would still try my luck. Call it spring has pretty good shoes, but madam slow wasted my time, first, she took an eternity to get my wife a pair of shoes, then, my wife wanted to do 70 in cash and her card for the difference, but then she says she has no idea how to do it! An employee came around and said, let me do it, and she said this" I can do it you *****" then the good employee comes back after 15 mins and pushes her away and does it in 2 mins, the rest of the time was enjoyable! This was the 2nd time coming here for the Lindt store since the store in US has closed. This time we walked around. It's outdoor so winter months will be cold. They have a great variety of stores. They have a building for a food court but also had some food Trucks. Nice place for a shopping Spree and American Dollar is great. read more

Visiting this outlet on the way back from Crystal Beach. It has a good selection of stores but nothing special. The parking was quite far from the stores. I like the Halton Hills outlet better since it has a luxury brand section. Since this outlet is so close to the border I would recommend going to Buffalo it's much cheaper. My fav stores to shop here are Nike and 5th avenue. All The stores are outside and the foodcourt has very limited selection. There are a couple of food truck outside which is nice. read more

The Niagara outlet is very easy to get it on the way to Niagara Falls or from Niagara-on-the-Lake. There was a lot of parking spots available on a Tuesday afternoon and it was not busy either. The stores are entered from the outside but lots of room to walk and benches available for partners to wait. There are some great stores here and I just went into 5 or 6 of them and spent almost an hour and half there. If I had more to shop, I could see myself spending half a day here checking things out and finding deals, as the outlet stores did have some good prices. Some times might have outlet store specific while others had items half price what I would see in the store in a mall. Come during the weekday afternoon as not many lines in stores or washrooms. I would shop here again if I'm in the area. read more

YEAH BABY. This outlet mall was about 10 minutes from our hotel and when we saw it driving in my husband looked at me and said, "so when are we going?" Because he knows I love an outlet mall with all of my heart. The answer? The very next morning. And this collection was GREAT. It's organized really well (outdoors but not a strip mall like a lot of other outlets) and very clean. It's a newer build, I think, or at least it seems that way. Great store selection, too. Including outlet faves like Kate Spade, J Crew, Coach, Gap, Banana Republic, Ecco, Fossil, Nike, etc and a bunch that I've never seen at an outlet mall before including Lululemon, Asics, and Sorrel. The later two of which I bought more than a few pairs of shoes at. Gotta take advantage of it while you can! Parking is a bit odd in that you park outside of the complex, so if you're buying a lot of stuff you'll have to walk it back to your car regularly, but it's worth it for all the great deals and options. We came straight from breakfast so we weren't hungry but there are a few dining options on site. I did get a beverage at David's Tea as well and that was a nice refreshment! read more

Very huge partially outside mall. All the stores are enclosed but you walk outside to get to the next one. Many high end stores are located here, along with more reasonable priced stores. There is a section that has a few food trucks, as well as a regular food court. For the kids there is a section or two, that has a playground. Worth the trip just to see the place. I really enjoyed this outlet's selection, though I thought the parking vs. layout of stores was a bit whack. When you get into the parking area, it's tough to find a good "spot" since there are very few entrances to the shopping corridors. There's basically no such thing as a good parking spot here. There should be doors facing the parking area into each store. The grounds were kept very well on our visit, but it was also very cold and not very crowded. We were pleased with the selection of stores, though some are not actually outlets, but just regular retail stores with regular retail prices and "sales". Room for improvement would include beverage vending machines throughout the facility. We walked forever before finding the eatery and paying an exuberant price for a bottle of water. I'd visit in the future (preferably when it's warmer outside!). read more

Great outlet! Had a great time shopping, it was festive for the holidays and I sampled some wine. The tree was beautiful and they had so many nice photo backgrounds. The reindeers had on scarves and the lights were really nice. Come to Niagara on the Lake for a Mother & Daughter trip. We stopped before dinner. They had food trucks, a nice food court and the fireplace was going strong. There was plenty of outdoor seating so I'm sure when the weather is warm this is a great place to sit and chill between shopping. They had a great selection of stores and the deals were ok. I'd certainly come back during the summer months. I've been to a lot of outlets. This was a nice one. Parking is plentiful. The entire area is clean, safe and well lit. read more

A great way to spend a shopping day! We came from downtown Toronto and it took us around 2 hours to get there (we had two accidents happen on the highway) We went on a Tuesday morning so it wasn't that busy. The deals were pretty good. Just your average outlet, nothing special. The stores are not connected indoors, so make sure you're dressed for the weather. Walking from store to store can be annoying when it's raining or snowing and there's a lot of wind. The Eatery (food court) has about 8-9 restaurants (plus a coffee place and convenience store) and it's pretty clean. There's ALWAYS a lot of people at the Eatery and it's hard to find seats. read more

Of all the outlet malls in Ontario, I definitely prefer this one. This is an outdoor mall so, be prepared in the rain and snow. On the other hand, you can bring your doggos here! They recently opened a Moose Knuckles here! They sell their classic bomber styles here at a discount so def worth it if you're planning on purchasing one of their jackets. The Kate Spades at any of these outlet malls are always crazy cheap. They often offer 70%... it's crayyyyy. Lululemon here is pretty good - they offer some good deals. UGG is mehhh - this one is not as good as their other outlet locations further down south in the States. Prices here compared to the Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls NY - it's wayyyy cheaper on the Canadian side (when you convert the prices back to CAD)!!! Outlet Collection is great to visit as a break from wineries, hiking and eating when one is visiting in the area. I definitely won't recommend it as a destination. As a savvy shopper, one might find the selection and the saving not worth their while. But I do like the set up of the mall, Spacious with a lot of open space! Aroma, Tim Horton's and Even a Starbucks?! Food selection might be weak but there is so many other options in the area! The stores though not too exciting but every single one I went into is clean and well layered out. And compare to Lundy's Lane?! This is so much better! Whenever I get a chance I like to cross the border and stop by this mall. I feel that even though we have an outlet near usa border, this one has a different variety of stores. I went on a Saturday morning on a relatively hot summer day. I like the outdoor space (they even have a food truck and kids area). However, the downside of this mall is that during summer is too hot and on winter is too cold (the bad part of visiting an outdoor mall). In addition, I would say that the food court offerings are somewhat limited but that might be my excuse to go to the wineries ;) read more

If I was working on a stat holiday, I think I would be so miserable. Every store that I went to - their customer service was impeccable (except for Pandora - the guy was no help at all and a bit stuck up). The deals were amazing. My hubby managed to grab two pairs of shoes and 4 tshirts. I bought two kate spade wallets for the price of ONE WALLET and an underarmour gym bag which was normally 130 for under 50 bucks. My hubby told me we should have bought a second one to put away but the deals were an absolute steal. The outlet here is so much better than Lundy Lanes. Happy shopping fellow yelpers! read more

This outlet plaza built a couple of years ago is located right off the QEW. Lots of parking everywhere, though because of the layout, you can't quickly go in and out. During the winter the winds can get pretty bad here so bundle up. If you are looking for the higher end outlets like Coach, North Face, and Ugg, this is the place to be. The stores have a higher amount of square feet and lots of selection. And, there is a Tim Hortons here of course! read more

So since I was already visiting Toronto I figured I'd make the 2 hour trek to this new Outlet Mall (which boasts to be the largest outdoor outlet mall in Canada). So what I really like about this mall is the layout. It's all outdoors, but there are sections that have canopies, so you are not completely exposed to the elements. On the day I went it was 31 degrees Celsius, which is too stinkin' hot if you ask me. However, under the canopies, it was bearable. There are lots of shaded areas for those who fear the sun like me, and lots of sunny areas for the sun worshipers. I imagine that the canopies also protect you from rain on those rainy days. There is also a lot of free parking. Yay. And in The Eatery there is a water bottle re-filling station. Cool! The Eatery (a.k.a. Food Court) does not have sufficient indoor seating. We wanted to eat there but there was literally no place to sit. They do have outdoor seating, and although it is covered it is covered with a slatted covering, so no refuge from the heat. The McDonalds is across the parking lot in a stand-alone building. It also did not have sufficient seating. The Tim Hortons is at the other end of the mall in the Guest Services building. The line-up was huge and the seating situation was the same. They claim there is free WiFi, but I wasn't able to use it (I could get on, and it said "connected" but I couldn't actually go to any websites). Alright, on to the shopping: There were no good deals here for me. The prices are not any better than I can easily find elsewhere (however, it's only fair that I mention I am an extreme shopper, and an "unusual size" (shoe size 5, dress size 2), and thus am often able to find unbelievable deals - we're talking I once scored a pair of lambskin Cole Haan wedges for $36, and a Theory dress for $18!). They have a Not Your Daughter's Jeans Outlet. While the section is phenomenal, the prices are about $45 for a pair of jeans. Compared to retail price this is great. However, I find Not Your Daughter's Jeans in sizes 0 and 2 all the time at Winners for $10-$20. If you are larger than a 2 and feel that $45 is a good deal, then you should go here. Their sample size is a 6, so if you are a 6 you will have the greatest selection in terms of styles. I was so looking forward to going to the Crocs store. If you have normal sized feet you might find some bargains. They had nothing in my size (I'm a size 4 or 5 in Crocs). Normally shoe outlets have lots of stuff at the ends of the size spectrum, which is women's 5 and 11. Not at this Crocs (or any of the shoe outlets here). Lots of sizes 7-10. They had Kadee Wedges for $34.99 and everything was buy 2 get 1 free. Coach Outlet and Michael Kors Outlet: mostly poorer quality "made for factory outlet" stuff. Very few boutique store transferred items. I think they have the only White House Black Market Outlet in Canada. Petite ladies will enjoy this place. Tons of petite size 00, 0 and 2 (and their petite pieces really are petite proportioned). Prices are not a bargain in my opinion though. However, if you're short and slim and not looking for hardcore bargains, you'll find some fashionable pieces here. I have never seen a L'Occitane en Provence Outlet before, but they had one here. Lots of things on sale, and better than regular retail store sales. Also lots of pre-packaged gift sets for a fraction of the regular price. The sales at the shoe stores were good (Ecco, SoftMoc, GEOX, Rockport, etc.). But they had nothing in my size. Lots of sizes 8, 9 and 10. If you are from outside the Niagara Region, go to the Guest Services desk, and show them some ID and you will get a "Collection Perks" Coupon Booklet. The booklet will give you coupons that will give you an additional discount at some retailers. Discounts range from 10%-50%. They mark it down on a little sheet where you're from for statistics (which I'm sure they pass along to their marketing department). So overall, I personally was not impressed, but that is because I am a bargain hunter extraordinaire and not a "normal sized" person. If you are less hardcore in your bargain hunting and closer to the national average when it comes to size, you may rate this place higher than I did. read more

You won't miss it; just look for the long lineup of cars exiting, and chances are they're all going to the mall. Sales were definitely aplenty during the Labour Day Weekend, to a point where I saw several American-plated cars shopping. Variety is quite decent, with staples such as Coach, Puma, Adidas, Reebok, Saks, as well as a few surprises like Salomon and the Diesel surplus store. Once you can find parking (if you can find parking), the mall is quite nice to walk around. Reminds me of an outdoor Vaughan Mills setup, and their food court architecture is quite nice (look at the roof!). If you don't wanna cross the border for whatever reason, and I don't blame you of course, this is a good stop gap. read more

A huge disappointment! It's marketed as an Outlet Mall, but the prices are above average. There's lots of signs in various stores stating SALE and Up To 50% Off, but in reality the prices are no less than you would find at the equivalent store in your local mall. In fact, in many cases the prices are higher for last season's merchandise compared to the latest similar item you'd get locally. Then there's the strange concept of making this an outdoor mall. So you can run through the rain showers or freezing cold to traverse from store to store. Not a great idea for Canada's climate. read more

This recently opened outlet mall is conveniently located off the QEW on the way to Niagara Falls/Niagara on the Lake. It's directly across from the White Oaks Hotel/Spa. The style is very similar to the Toronto Premium Outlets -- outdoor with lots of seating areas. Many of the stores are the same too. I still think I prefer the Premium Outlets (they have the Bay!!). However, the selection here is pretty good too. I didn't go to too many stores, but checked out Kate Spade and Cole Haan which just opened August 2014, as well as J. Crew Factory Store, L'Occitane, The Body Shop and Lindt. I found the sales were okay -- probably not as discounted as what you might find in the US, but there are still some good deals to be had. Kate Spade - 40% off, then additional 20% off J. Crew - additional discounts from 30-50% off, plus students get an extra 15% off after that!! L'Occitane - regular 'classic' items were only about 10-15% off, but the gift baskets and seasons scents were more reduced I really like that their food court has Aroma. It's the best option for healthy eating amidst a bunch of greasy fast food choices. There is a Starbucks opening soon, which I'm sure will make a killing. There is a wine shop in the food court too. The design of the space is quite nice. Everything feels very open, and there is a children's playground too. They host Sunday yoga and Friday foodtrucks during the summer. I think it would be less fun to come here in the winter though, since you are walking outside between shops!! read more

Not only is this place LARGER than Premium Outlets, but it's also better designed. They have taken into consideration of planning shaded areas with skylights, pergolas, partial roofs, plenty of seating, an area for kids to play on, a small stage/performance area, etc. Obviously this is more applicable for the warmer months since this is an outdoor mall! Store selection-wise: Personally, it isn't the best for me. TONS of outdoorsy/sporty clothing stores like Columbia, North Face, Arcteryx/Salomon, Eddie Bauer, but less fashion/shoe stores. Absolutely NO high-end stores - sorry people, but I do not consider Michael Kors/Coach "designer". Most people can afford that nowadays, especially when they're 50%/20% off at these outlet malls! Would be good if they threw in a makeup store, re: Sephora/CCO and more clothing stores like Zara...which is never at an outlet. Despite the lack of selection for me, it's still a nice space to spend the day or even afternoon. Probably took a little over an hour from 'ssauga! And patrons/customers here seem a bit more well-mannered. No douche drivers in parking lot, thank God! Parking was easy on Friday morning. Would drive tourists here first before I even think of Premium Outlets! Tip: FOOD TRUCK FRIDAYS! Ok, there were like 5 trucks, but it's still nice that they had a spot for them...unlike Toronto. This is a super well stocked outlet! Given it is in the middle of no where and i came dead of winter, i was able to find and get things i wanted. Beware this outlet is OUTDOORS as most outlets are, but this is in a frigid area of the world. It was snowing and cold but there were still shoppers looking to get Boxing Day deals. This means we walked around cold and rushing in and out of stores. We always come to this outlet during our trips to Niagara Falls. Lots of attractive brand name stores such as Van Heusen, Coach, Michael Kors, Haggar, Calvin Klein, etc. Lindt is the best! Inadequate parking and lacklustre stock make this place a zoo. Outlets are about reducing dead stock with local brands. While some businesses in here have made an effort to present a 'boutique' atmosphere, a lot have a real warehouse vibe. I'll update my review as this place matures. The mall itself is still awaiting finished parking, so expect a 15-30 minute wait off the highway to get to the mall proper. Right now the avenues are adequately spacious and clean. We'll see how they look in six months. Overall, it's the average American outlet mall... Just in Canada. read more

Lets see... They are trying to compete US and I think they have come close. The Outlet mall is huge and the shops are bigger and stocked up. Some shops have really good sale and some don't. It is an open strip mall but some section are covered. The parking lot is huge and goes around the mall. The washroom were in decent condition but I could not find any water fountains. Their food court has good choices. Big Smoke Burger is also located here and they do have Halal Chicken Burger. read more

After hiking at Niagara Glen, my family saw that this was on the way back home so we stopped by to see if there would be good discounts. They have a nice variety of stores so there's something for everyone. Honestly we just went to a couple of stores like Lululemon and I gotta say that the discounts were actually pretty good although the lines were pretty long. You should definitely go early because sizes are gone really quickly. I'd say the longest line was Nike. Good amount of parking. read more

Finally an outlet mall comparable to the premium outlets in the US! This outlet mall is far better than the fashion outlets across the border. It has more stores, more designer brands, a much better layout, and comparable prices. I usually buy more things here than at the fashion outlets. My favourite stores are Pandora, Ugg, and lululemon.
