The saddest part is that they are closing and the staff were only given a week's notice that they are all losing their jobs. I wish them all well and hope to check out the other locations to see if they are closing too. It's too bad if they are. Discount stores are getting fewer and farther between.

I find the dollar tree a little bit cheaper than the Dollarama so also a perk of going here is saving a few extra dollars. I know they have different items as well and the staff have always been friendly and ready to help you find what you need. I love coming here for crafting ideas, wrapping paper cards and now wedding items! It's never super busy so you can get what you need without having to wait in a long line!

Linda, the owner, is particular about what she accepts. It shows in the stock she carries. Second, the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Linda is helpful in finding certain brands. I've walked in and asked her for more of one brand and she walks around the store and knows where each piece of that brand is. How does she do that, I wonder? (Hmmm). Third, the prices are affordable and about the same you'd pay if you went to a mall and bought non-designer clothing. Here you get premium clothing at mall prices. Finally, every dollar I spend here feels like I'm doing something good for the planet and good for my community. I'm recycling and I'm putting money into local business. What I'm not doing is unknowingly supporting unethical clothing manufacturing in remote areas. Sometimes, I stop in here to browse but each time I've gone here with a specific goal in mind (ie. buy a new outfit and purse) I find just the clothes and accessories I'm seeking, always a great find.

They don't appear to get much in the way of plus size and maternity here and even the men's section seemed a bit skimpy. Also some of the prices were a bit shocking. I went into the purses and found a drawstring bag from the University of British Columbia for an eyebrow raising $12.99. Also the way pricing works here for clothes is they just have one set price for each type of item regardless of condition or name brand which is fabulous if you luck out and find say a Gap t-shirt but not so fabulous when your expected to pay $5.00 for a Joe t-shirt you could get new for $6.99 Like most places though they do have their good points. I didn't find any worn out looking clothes that looked like they had no business out on the sales floor to begin with which means they take their quality control here very seriously. Also the staff are all very friendly and appear to get along well. They also put their physically and developmentally challenged team members in roles out on the floor which is something I have never seen at any other thrift store ever. It was wonderful and so nice to see as you can tell they really enjoy what they are doing. There are definitely better thrift stores but I wouldn't dismiss this one completely. It has a nice vibe to it and they are kind of off the beaten path in a business complex area so you might find some really interesting things since I think they are a little less well known in the park.

I was not impressed at all with their prices. For used item they are pricey especially if they get there inventory from donations. They're selection is massive. I only explored about five percent of the store. I found this jacket that they were selling for $20.99 and cost co is selling it for $14.99 (on sale). I had to do something about that price!!! I asked the front desk to look up the real value of the item. I don't recommend this store. Winners /Marshall's wells cheaper items than this store.

A bit smaller than the Whyte Ave location but it has a great selection of clothes and goods. Nice and clean inside. There is a donation drop off zone outside. A large parking lot services the strip mall so you should never have an issue with parking. I like this store as it is way less busy than the Whyte Ave location so that makes the shopping experience a bit better.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. And there is parking in front which is always a plus. I found one of those yellow/brown glass pots! These are so amazing and they're so hard to find. It was in really good shape and a great deal, only $10. I also found a gorgeous crystal snack tray with 4 sections, it was like $4! Such a great deal! I will definitely keep this place in my back pocket for a rainy day.
