I left several voicemails with no response so I resorted to leaving a message on their page on Yelp. Still no response. Finally I tried the phone again and after ringing over ten times, someone named Marty answered. He wasn't very forthright with any information and what he did tell me was different than what Daniel said in the beginning. I wasn't comfortable with this lack of professionalism so I decided to go with a different company even tho I really liked the Profile of this firm and had intentions to use them depending on their quote which I never got. Just a little Leary about their unresponsiveness. I guess I wonder how reliable they would be in a move and can't afford to "babysit" them. So sad.

That day, I was called at 2, asking me to be ready between 230 and 3. I was at my storage area, and starting getting things ready. By 330, I had not heard from the company, after being there an hour and unloading half my unit by myself. I called the company, and left messages. When I was finally called back, the owner was very rude, and said he had sent his people home for the day, and I ended up reps king my unit by myself. As a single mom who just relocated towns, this added a lot of unnecessary stress! I definitely do NOT recommend City Delivery in Columbus!!!

But expect to pay more than you expect. Complained and asked for refund for damage. They never sent me an email about the damage and never followed up after I officially complained about damage with the workers on site and they documented the damage. They responded to the review below please note they immediately responded to a bad review very unfortunate that they don't provide immediate response when they damage your belongings or have problems with their move.

my roommate and i used college hunks to move across town earlier this year. my sister had used them…read morebefore and she had nothing but wonderful things to say about them. of course we went with them. we were moving two apartments into one house so someone came out and looked at all of your things gave us a true estimate and we set the move up for a week or so later. when they arrive at first everything seemed fine, rushed through the contract but you know whatever. while they were moving our things we noticed a few things. 1. no televisions were wrapped. 2. they ran out of wrapping 3. things were breaking while they were moving and no one said a thing 4. dropped my roommates work computer right in front of i mia and didn't say a thing. we tried to let those things slide because things get jumbed in moves, especially big ones. when things were being unpacked that's where we really started to notice things. 1. my big television was broken, screen was toast. 2. couches and mattresses had horrible scuff marks in them 3. a bookshelf was broken 4. they caused damage to our bannister in the new home 5. left our wagon we let them used at old apartment and was stolen. all this to say i did follow up with the company, filled out all of the forms within 10 days, did all the paper work to get at least SOME money back. inevitably i was ghosted my the company, i have followed up since and still haven't heard or received anything back. i understand things happen but when you pay over $1,000 for mover and ending up with $1,000 worth of damages and to be ghosted is incredible disappointing.

The folks at Heartland Moving admin office were very helpful in explaining services provided that include moving and storage, specifically for larger and specialized pieces as pianos. Utilized their service for furniture removal in a portion of our house during renovations. The outgoing process did not go as smoothly as hoped. After sharing concerns, the boss himself was there upon return and things went much more smoothly. The company even addressed a minor repair while the furniture was in storage so that upon return there were no issues. Located in Sioux City, we utilized their services for the all in one capabilities of moving in storage. Despite a few bumps initially, I would use them again. Recommend Heartland moving for your moving and storage needs.

They also were smart with suggestions for best placement based on function, e.g., rotating the sectional so it could fit and identifying where the powered recliners would get most use, etc. I took away one star because I didn't appreciate having to pay for their round trip travel and gas when I already was paying for a multi-hour move job, and the fact they had individual crew members leave early with no advance notice to me.
