This is my 2nd year bowling at Dolton Bowling Alley. I like the fact that this bowling alley has great space. I did not bump into people as I move around this bowling alley. Their scoring screens are large in up to date. The manager at the counter put in the names of each bowler in nicely, unlike another alley I visited, they were too lazy to type so they just type the initial of each person. Dolton Bowl has good food and beverages as well. There is a lot of parking in the front and more in the back of the building. One year we did a birthday party for one of our children in the family and we had a barrel of fun. I always enjoy myself as well as my friends and family while bowling at Dolton Bowl. Oh! They have a shop that sales bowling shoes, bowling balls and tons of bowling items as well as. Lots of seating areas to eat the food you purchased and bathrooms and the front as well as in the middle of the building. They are a clean trusted establishment. It's a pretty decent bowling alley. It's pretty dated could use some TLC. However, the staff is really nice and helpful. I purchased a Groupon and it was affordable. We received one hour of bowling and a choice between 25 wingdings or pizza. We opted for the wings. They were nice and fresh.The bones weren't dark and the oil didn't taste old. Someone in our group had a slice of sausage pizza and they gave it a thumbs up. The music was great! The crowd was chilled. It was great to see young families out. Our group enjoyed the evening. Came here for dollar bowling with my family today and more than half their lanes do not work and half broken bumpers on the lanes. Also the bathrooms don't even work. This is ridiculous and I will not be returning i jeans I could give it one star, very poorly maintained bowling alley. It was a horrible experience for my family, and then they have the nerve to have a sign posted saying no refunds because they are fully aware of the conditions of their place of business. Asked the owner what's going on with the lanes and he says "I don't know what's wrong with the lanes". After having us change lanes 4 times! I do not recommend this place to anybody not a pleasant family fun place even during the day. read more

Accepts Groupon, good lanes, nice staff, large parking lot in back. Major drawback? While the food is good (best food I've ever had at a bowling alley - pizza and fried chicken wings were on point), it takes way too long for the food & drinks you order to get to you. Ridiculous if you're having a party with young hungry ones - heck, anybody! The pitchers of soda, iced tea and lemonade arrived even later than the food. I get that it can get busy and that there are a lot of lanes for the staff to get to, but this is something that really could use improvement. read more

It's a great place to bowl if you go in the day because the guy at night is rude and more concerned with selling his bootleg Gucci bags. If your not buying his stuff you can't bowl at night. I was there he was attending to a party of people; who were only using 6 out of 33 lanes. He would give me a lane and refused me service. The guy in the morning is great! This could be such a great place if they would just fixed the night staff. read more

BARTENDER WAS GREAT!!! Prices were GREAT!!! BUT The time limit we waited for receiving food was ridiculous. Nearly 50 people in the entire spot and we waited over 2 hours for cold food. The lanes continued to have issues. They kept saying the food would be here and it didn't come until 6hrs later. Ok exaggerating 6hrs but to order and 6pm and not receive food until 9pm is crazy! I know that seems like a "Hey, you're drinking food doesn't matter" kind of situation, BUT, it does! When we finally received the food none of the condiments that come with it were included, we had to wait another 1hr just to get some. I'm irritated. read more

I just left this bowling alley 5 minutes ago and it was horrible! We played one game and all 3 of our balls got stuck 3 times. The second game we played we got half way through before the game got stuck again. The worker we asked for assistance was rude and had not only talked downtown to us but said " what y'all 17/18 y'all have no strength to throw the ball?" Me and my sister are 25 and our younger sister is 15 with autism! He has no right to be disrespectful! Do your job and fix your damn machine! Then they have the audacity to say no refunds! Monday night is usually supposed to be the cheap, fun night to go bowling but the Monday night we went, it was overly crowded, we couldn't even get a lane after waiting for hours and not to mention the crowd was a whole bunch of annoying teenagers with fake ID's. However the bartender was very nice and the pizza was that good old fashioned pizza that bowling alleys in the mid-west all seem to have. After eating and sitting around for hours, the evening ended abruptly with someone shooting at the other end of the alley. This place seems hit or miss, but I don't think I'll be there again. read more

Dolton bowl has is ups and downs, likes and dislikes. For the most part it is a great atmosphere to bowl and relax in. However on weekends it can become very overcrowded, loud and obnoxious. At times there has even been gang violence there. I have never had an issue with the bowling alley. I get my lanes, I bowl, then I leave. Some days are busier than others so may I suggest you phone ahead. But overall, its a good bowling alley. read more

Got there at 9:45 pm and was immediately told there would be an hour wait (even though there was four lanes open). After waiting about 15 minutes our names were called. Ask the attendant to put the bumpers on for the kids, that wasn't done had to go back twice for that. Went to place the order for 1 sausage & 1 pepperoni pizza, 1 hr later our food stil wasn't out. Sent my 10yr old nephew up there to check he says the attendant won't service him and kept taking other people over him. Go to the desk and he says he didn't see him and when he calls to check on our order someone says they messed it up. They finally bring out the order and it is still incorrect. I inform the attendant he says he will take care of it. 2hr and 20 minutes later still no order.... THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD!!! Don't waste your time! read more

I was skeptical about going here at first because I know how the Dolton area can be. I actually had a great time here and enjoyed my night with friends. Nothing went wrong the workers were nice. Even though our balls got stuck a couple times it was no big deal. The drinks were good and at a reasonable price. I guess I went on a good day. read more

I ACCIDENTALLY PUSHED FIVE STARS I GIVE THIS PLACE NO STARS SORRY PLACE TO GO I could not even rate this place with an half star , was there Dec/20/2015 at 6:30 I gave my daughter a birthday party there , payed 64 dollars for 2 lanes , nothing came with this. , so they said , but the lady party next to me got a pizza with there party ,,, go figure ,,, so I order 30 wings / 2 pizzas ,,, drinks and every thing even tip the bartender, but this was before I realize that this place WAS so unprofessional ran ,, we didn't get our food until our bowling time was over , it took them 3 hrs to get our food to use ,,, I went to require about our food and they send me to the kitchen I go to the kitchen ,, and there's a young lady sitting there with her feet kicked up on her cell as if she was at home in her bedroom ,,,, never once did she ask me can she help me , I had to go to the kitchen personally myself and ask the cooks about my order ,,, oh we finally got our "food after our bowling time was up ,I went over to the bartender for another round of drinks ,, WHILE WAITING ON THE FOOD and she tells me she's close for 30 minutes BUT YET U SEE HER STILL SERVING DRINKS 2 THE league members I guess there tips was bigger then mines ,,,,and the same girl that had her feet in the chair brought out the food and you could see all in her face that she had an attitude,,,, I would never go there again I would not recommend this place to a DOG ,,, SAD SAD SAD ,,, and the only reason I waited on the Food is because the kids was so hungry ,,, DON'T TAKE ANYONE THERE IF ANYONE SAYS TO YOU LET'S GO TO DOLTON BOWL RUN FAR FAR FAR AWAY ,,, read more
