Listen!!!! I tried with this place. I used to bring my daughter here bc of the location and convenience . Now my daughter has natural hair. My Last and final time I took her to this salon, one of the staff acted as if she was overwhelmed, another staff didn't want to help her. It was a mess. Yet another lady with more long flowing hair came in and she was well taken care of. Now as a Dominican sister you would have to be familiar with different textures of hair. You do know y'all have some African ancestry but I digress...At the end they told us to leave bc the staff couldn't manage my child's hair. I paid her 20 for effort (even though I shouldn't of) ! I was dissatisfied with the professionalism, I was disgusted by the staff and I will NEVER have my child be disregarded and feel shame like that again! Shame on this place!!!!!! HORRIBLE!!!! experience I tried this place out because it was convenient I just moved to the area and are used to getting my hair done by Dominicans. Worst mistake ever the first time I went I thought maybe it was just a bad day but the charged me 70 dollars to do a mediocre job. Now a few months letter I went back and I came in with my hair already washed they only did roller and blow out. Before she started blowing out my hair she said oh it be 90 if you get ironed I mentioned to her that the prior time it was 70 and they ironed my hair and she said I was lying. I wasn't going to go back n forth with her on Xmas eve I have things to do and needed to get out of there I told her only blow out please see the pictures below on how I left this place and she still charged me $83.20. Please don't waste your time coming here this isn't a real Dominican salon then don't know how to do a real blow out without n iron to save them. I made an appointment a few days earlier to come in get a relaxer. I show up today and first of all there's nobody at the front desk, so I just sign my name on the paper. And I sit and wait to get my hair done. My appointment was for 10:00am. It's 10:47am and I'm still sitting and waiting. Meanwhile, nobody came to greet meet, asked me why I'm here, how long I have to wait? Not even a hello or how you doing? After 47 minutes, I walked out and went to a different hair salon. How unprofessional and extremely rude! And the atmosphere here is super awkward and unwelcoming.They move so slow in here and are unorganized. I will never come here ever again. I went to this hair salon two days ago she scrub my hair so aggressively that I was in pain for the last two days, I have natural curly hair but 20 minutes before I had already relax dad and I just asked her to wash out the conditioner put it in rollers and that's it. I came with my mom I'm a junior in high school and she told my mom to sit down and stop telling her to be more gentle. Next time I would never go back. My hair came out great , the woman who did my hair was beyond rude , she didn't wear a mask , no plexi glass installed , no sanitizing in between customers, 60$ for a wash and blow with deep condition l, I'll stick to my place, I've never paid more than $45.00 , I do have a lot of hair but 60$ they can shove it! They know how to style your hair but after visiting 10 times I noticed my hair was being fried!! Why did it take me so long to notice? I did not notice right away because my hair is dyed and was previously damaged from another salon however, my extentions were damaged by this place too. I only used the extention's for a few months and not every single day. I bought a new hair extention set and noticed the damaged after I let this salon flat iron it. They used their irons and blowers too hot or don't use good ones. No wonder why my hair was breaking. I stopped going here about a year ago and since then have trimmed my hair and bought another extention and we are doing well! I have soft Dominican hair and use keratin. read more

I have been here well over 10 times. There are girls that work here that are really nice, but the manager and what seems to be the co manager are gossip queens. I usually go in for a wash and blow dry because I'm always on the go and it always bothers them that I don't do rollers on my hair. Why will it bother you if this is the service your customer is requesting and on top of that paying more for. I speak Spanish and trust me they talk about clients especially those who don't speak the language. I will not be returning anymore. I gave them so many chances but the blonde lady manager blew out my hair and burned me several times. She's blown my hair before but this day she practically begged for me to do rollers and I didn't and so in my opinion she did that on purpose. NO customer service at all. read more

THIS SALON SHOULD GET NO STARS. I went into get a wash and set. I was instead approached with a stern harsh voice from a woman with blonde hair. I'm not sure if she was the manager/ owner but she was running the show today. The salon was fairly empty, she told me to sign in. After waiting for 30 mins and realizing the stylist are now relaxing I stood up with concern on my face. The "show runner" asked "what". I reminded her that I was there for a wash and set l, she acknowledges that and starts to ask me a series of questions. How long is your hair, is your hair natural, are you blowing your hair after, do you have to roller set etc. After answering all questions I understood that at this point she is bothered and had no desire be unbothered. I thanked her and said I won't be doing there wash and set....... her response "Good" I went to this salon as referred by a friend, so I went in optimist. Unfortunately we all have bad days and that may be the case here with the "show runner" but I was also having a bad day, a bad hair day and just needed a wash and set. I urge anyone that is seeking a salon in this area to keep searching. If you are a client of this salon already challenge management to do better then what they are offering now. I'm SUPER particular when it comes to my hair. I needed a quick fix for some pictures that were going to be taken of me so, I came here. Wash, deep condition and roller set - simple. However, I just had a baby and my hair texture has changed tremendously! Very, very thick and can sometimes mat if not deep conditioned and detangled properly. The woman that washed my hair was super rough with detangling my hair in the sink with my deep conditioner in and then proceeded to pull at my hair while doing my roller set with that fine, small toothed comb. I haven't even made it to getting my blow out yet but I already know I will not be returning. I hate having to leave a bad review for an establishment but it is what it is - DO BETTER. Learn that every hair texture is not the same and you can't rush through every head of hair that walks into your establishment. Went here for a blow out after washing my hair and at first the lady told me a blow out would be $30. So I asked her how much is a wash and blow she said $35. And then because I put coconut oil in my hair. She said she had to completely wash it out. Unfortunately, i have been coming to this place due to convenience. I am black, but i understand and speak Spanish. They have no idea that i understand them because im black. THEY TALK ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS ALL THE TIME. There was one time that i wanted to blow my hair out and NOT set it and dry under the dryer. This one woman started to destroy my hair and called me names in Spanish and started being so disrespectful to me in spanish. This salon has rude/racist employees. One in particular that would not wait on a Haitian family. This was appalling! Not to mention they speak badly about customers in spanish. They also did a terrible color application on my daughter and cut her bangs unevenly. Although they fixed her bangs after I complained and offered to redo the color in a few weeks. I got my hair done here on a Friday afternoon, I was satisfied with my results, but in came a regular customer who had complained about her hair being damaged. The girl was an African American and she maintained her hair in its natural state and just wanted a wash and blow dry. The stylist was very selfish and wanted to make the hair texture softer to speed up the process. The hairstylist had permed her hair deliberately WITHOUT HER CONSENT! the girls hair was shedding right before our eyes. I will never come back to this salon because they cannot be trusted. If I ask for a wash and blow that is what I expect! Not for the stylist to mix perm cream in my shampoo! This is beyond unethical! All of the customers were in shock to witness this. If my hair needs something specific, recommendations are made without them being pushy. I am always happy with my hair and receive compliments from others after leaving the salon. NATURALS BEWARE!!!! Also this review will be very detailed and lengthy. I have 4B hair and its been almost 3 years since my big chop. During this time I have only gotten my natural hair pressed twice and this being the third. Also its been 6 months since I last used any heat whatsoever on my hair. (Keep this in mind for when the plot thickens) I came in last Tuesday for a wash and blow. For starters she shampooed my hair and put me under the dryer without using any conditioner. I asked her if she used conditioner and her response was "oh I didn't know you wanted it conditioned". Who washes their hair without conditioner?!! Any who I only allowed her to blow dry my hair and wrap it because I was going home immediately after and planned on trimming and curling it myself. A few days later I noticed my scalp is hurting a bit so I washed my hair last night and my natural hair DID NOT REVERT. I've read nightmare stories online in the past of Dominican salons adding a small amount of relaxer into the shampoo or conditioner to make it easier to straighten the hair but never knew anyone personally it happened to and damn sure never thought it would happen to me. So at this point I started panicking. To assure I wasn't loosing it I washed my hair 2 more times with 2 different products and my hair was STILL VERY straight. Also I noticed a rotten egg/ chemical like smell. Even my boyfriend asked "babe what's that smell, it smells terrible in here". I know WITHOUT A DOUBT some relaxer, kiddy relaxer or possibly texlax was added to their shampoo or conditioner. Yes I know that constant straightening will weaken your curl pattern but in almost 3 years I have only straightened it 3 times the last time being 6 months ago. There is absolutely no reason why my roots didn't even revert back! I went back to the salon and the woman who did it insisted on making me out to look like a mad woman.
