I love coming here for eyebrow threading and tint by Hadjra. She's very precise and honest about what would look good on your face. She suggested mixing a black and brown tint instead of one or the other and it looked incredibly natural and beautiful. I haven't been so satisfied with my brows in a very long time. I have been going to this place since it's close by. Generally I have a good experience here, however, Lately they have raised their prices a lot and the service quality has declined. I regret referring this place to a friend recently who came back highly unsatisfied! She was charged an exorbitant price for a basic service and was not treated kindly at checkout - despite the website showing hours of 10-8, they claimed they will charge my friend "overtime" since she came after 6. Although the salon offers male haircuts, please do not take them up on that offer. My hair came out uneven and was pretty much a disappointment. The haircut alone took almost 1 hour. My hair stylist had to take multiple phone calls and also chat with her friend/client, who was there to dye her hair. Overall, this is a pretty unprofessional joint for men's haircuts. I got a haircut here for only $20, but the price varies based on your type of hair. My hair is fine and I got a simple cut. Most of the customers were there for eyebrow threading (men also come here for their eyebrows.) The salon has a nice atmosphere with plenty of seating and huge mirrors. They have waxing services in the back. It was pretty empty for a weekday, but I assume it gets busy on the weekends. Overall my haircut was quick and I liked it. I noticed some uneven cuts (as in she missed cutting a few strands of hair) but it's not really a problem for me. I would recommend this place if you live in the area. Ok so I NEVER write negative reviews but this needs to be brought to people's attention! I've been getting my upper lip waxed for years (not at this establishment) and this was the worst and most painful upper lip wax experience I've ever had to date! Usually it takes 3 applications of wax to get rid of the hair on my lip (sometimes 2-one on both sides of the lip and on right by the philtrum) this was not the case with this lady. She must have applied about 8 applications! 8!!!!! The first 3 she cooled off the wax but after that she applied it to me while it was burning hot. It ended up burning a part of my upper lip. She also got the wax on my nose and the hot wax also dropped onto my lips. Please AVOID this place for waxing! She also once messed up my eyebrows but it wasn't that big of a deal. read more

I've been here to get my eyebrows (or other parts of my face) threaded, and the women who work here do a great job, taking their time and listening to what you want. I've also had my hair washed and blow-dried here, and I was so pleased that the stylist actually listened to me when I asked her to be gentle with my hair, and even asked me about why (compared to Mehak just a few blocks away, where the stylist just laughed and practically pulled clumps of my hair out by the roots). I wish there was an option for zero stars. Shakila is not a make up artist but a scam artist. Went to her for bridal hair and make up. She first gave a deal of $500 for mehndi and reception. Charged me excessive ($15 extra for lashes and tax on cash) amount for trial which came out really dark. She is so proud of her products but I got two pimples the next day. So I booked another salon for the Reception but decided to stay for Mehndi. On Mehndi day she rushed my make up and hair and ran out on me before setting up my dupatta (veil) because she had some event to go to. She handed me over to her minions who had zero experience and before she walked out on me she charged me $326 when the deal was for $250. She badmouths other very capable and experienced makeup artists.Terrible service. NEVER ever going there again. read more
