A lot of the reviews are from years ago, this past year I've eaten from here more then I would like to admit do to its locational convince. Generally I have not had an issue with my order except once with a very complicated one that was compensated for. The pizza is always hot, and decent. The service ranges from friendly to slightly indifferent. I have had 2 or 3 orders with near hour+ waits that some of the reviews have warned about, but it is not a regular thing by any means. read more

To start, the customer service is terrible. We called them 4 times, got hung up on 3 times and finally on the final call they answered. Although, they were very impatient and took our order and hung up abruptly without further explanation on our order details. We also tried another time through the app and it took 2 hours for them to make and deliver the pizzas. We never received a call from them when they arrived and rather than calling or knocking, they left with our pizza and asked that we pick it up instead. If I were a manager I would consider having a talk with your employee Lynn because she is very rude and impatient. To say the least, my two experiences with this store have been absolutely terrible and would never recommend trying to order pizza from there. read more

First off I think it's fair to point out that my family generally likes Domino's Pizza, especially the parmesan bread bites and the thin crust pizza. It's not the best pizza in town but it is generally the lowest cost pizza in town, sans frozen anyway. We order Domino's often when our normal meal plans fall apart or we need something fast. Most of the time they come through with what we ordered and with quick to very quick delivery times. They make a lot of little mistakes, like putting on a lot of sauce when you ask for light sauce or forgetting to add extra toppings. But these issues are negligible. From time to time they make major mistakes, like forgetting an entire pizza or sending out something completely wrong, and when they do don't plan on receiving any level of customer service. You will get put on hold and no one will ever answer. If you call back you will just get put on hold again. Now if you send in a complaint via the website they will generally make it right with coupons or other gestures, but in the moment unless you plan to drive to the actual store don't expect to get any satisfaction. I wanted to give this Domino's a 3 star review for the times they get it mostly right, but after a recent 1 star mistake I settled in on 2 stars. Who is working, especially in the manager slot, on any given shift can move that rating up or down a star or two very easily. ETA: After mentioning my disappointment to a store employee, I got a call from the store manager offering me an apology and a store credit well in excess of the cost of my last problematic order. That was worth an extra star. But Domino's still needs to work on consistency. read more

A few years ago, Dominos decided to reinvent itself--new menu items, new recipes, and a completely revamped culture. Dominos in Brookings has embraced this since day one, and they keep getting better. I order from Dominos every other week or so, and their pizza is always hot, fresh, and absurdly tasty. As for the culture, you can tell the team is close-knit, all about making the best food possible, and customer satisfaction. I don't go there terribly often (like I said, every other week or so), and they still call me by name. Super impressed with the quality, timeliness, and friendliness. Kudos! read more
