I moved out of the area but when I come back, I always go to Jake's as it is a nostalgic place for me. The pizza has always been decent until this last time when we came in October 2025. I don't know what happened but it didn't taste anything like before! The crust was like cardboard - hard and tasteless. The sauce didn't seem the same either as it was pretty bland. I talked with a few locals and they seemed to share the same opinion as me, it is definitely not the same as before. I was so disappointed and probably won't go back.

I didn't order delivery so I'd have to go get it. I was at home, sitting 5' from the open front door, with my phone by my side. No one came with pizza and no one called. I'm not sure who ate my pizza but I've been trying for more than a week to get a refund. The "manager" Mikko said he could give me a credit for a future order (hahahahaha, like I would) but he couldn't give me a refund--for a pizza that I paid for but never received. I have called corporate customer service TWICE and still no progress. Evidently it takes them more than eight days to call me. No wonder the store has no sense of customer service--it has been handed down to them from the corporate office. Ridiculous.

Sometimes it tastes odd, sometimes they don't add the right toppings. Sometimes you get a little extra of another topping that had nothing to do with the order. I tried to get chicken one time and it was so crunchy it wasn't even edible basically, not to mention they were nearly ice cold by the time it arrived. It did not taste right. I do not plan to give them anymore business.

I loved their wall of merchandise I ended up getting a hoodie to take back with me to California.
