The service was outstanding -- friendly, attentive, and impressively efficient even with our large group of 11 people. We also ordered a couple of pizzas, and they disappeared almost immediately because they were that good! One of the best surprises was the back area with old-school pinball machines and a claw machine, which was a huge hit with the kids in our group. We even got lucky and won a few prizes! The whole atmosphere was fun, welcoming, and full of energy. It's easy to see why Half Brothers is such a beloved local hangout spot!

Really only pizza for sustainable food with a for appetizers to go with it. Special for the day was a slice, which was generous, and a beer for $10. The pizza was ok, crust a little doughy for my liking, need to make a decision if it's NY or not. Great stop when in ND, especially if you like craft beer. It is very close to being the most northwestern spot in the State. You are super close to the border with Manitoba, Canada in some seriously flat land. You know they must be good if they get distribution to a city over six hours away. Was impressed with the couple I had here at home and also impressed with what I had up there. Sours and IPA's seem to be their specialties. My two favorite styles. They are the Barrel Theory of Northern MN. Would be there constantly if it didn't require so much gas money and a hotel stay.

Making a Reuben is not difficult- use plenty of corned beef - should be at least an inch thick. Next level would be to make the corned beef in house. It's not that hard. Use snappy, crunchy sauerkraut. Next level - make it in house. They are already making other pickled things - add sauerkraut. Use real Swiss cheese. As stated the bread was ok but a marbled rye would be better. Serve it hot. Go for it here - have the best Reuben in Grand Forks!!!! I expect this review to fall on deaf ears. At the end of the day I paid $150 (including tip) for a pretty disappointing experience (except for the olives) and cold food. I hope they can pull it together.
