Homemade goodness in every dish. Sunset outdoor dining and the service was like eating with family. Drinks were also delicious.

Amazing pupusas - get the pupusa de loroco

Pupuseria that doesn't disappoint. Get the pupusa de loroco and thank me later. Pupusas are the specialty of El Salvador and are truly a national treasure. Don Beto's in Long Branch, happens to excel at them. Perfectly doughy, cheesey, and crispy. Don't forget to smother your pupusa with curtido (spicy cabbage slaw) and the red sauce (salsa roja). You eat it with your hands, too, so get ready to get messy.

Food , service , ambiance are good. Quesadillas are good. Chickens are not dry. "Ensalada" juice is to try, it's something different.

Amazing food. Loved the pupusas and beef soup. Fresh, hot, tastes like Salvadoran home cooking.

Don Beto's has the best pupusas and you cannot beat the price. If you are a true Salvadorean and what something else. They have that too.

I tried their chicken and cheese Pupusas which is El Salvador's national dish and it was really good.

My pupusas filled with cheese beans and loroco were very filling and the calabacita platter was the same. I definitely preferred the taste of the pupusas as the calabacita needed a strong sauce for taste so I ended up using the red and green salsas from the pupusas. However, even though I marked for utensils the restaurant did not provide me any. I don't know if that was a glitch in communications between Uber Eats and the restaurant, but it made it a pain to go hunting for plastic silverware at a quiet hotel.

Salvatoria Kitchen and Bar is a great option if you're looking for a sit-down spot for pupusas. I…read morewas pleasantly surprised that the pupusas were still reasonably priced for a full-service restaurant and bar, at around $4 each. They offer a good variety of fillings. My favorite was the jalapeño and cheese, which have a nice kick to them. The yuca frita was crispy but not oily, and made for a great appetizer before the pupusas. We came during happy hour and took advantage of the drink specials. The red sangria and margaritas were only $8 a glass and they were both strong and tasty, though I preferred the sangria slightly more. The music at Salvatoria was great and made for a nice atmosphere, with current Latino hits playing in the background. My only note, and it's minor, is that the curtido wasn't as good as I've had at other places. They do give you a good amount, but it lacked some of the crunch and acidity that a great curtido needs to balance out the pupusas. Overall, Salvatoria Kitchen and Bar delivers on food, value, and atmosphere. The bill for four pupusas, two drinks, and an order of yuca frita came out to just $45 before tip.

I was already kind of full but the entrees we got were also very delicious. I wish I knew how to cook fish or chicken that juicy but keeping the outside crunchy-crispy. 10/10 for all the food. Idk why but the music was so upbeat and it kept me feel rushed for some reason but that might be just me! Haha The service was great, the water kept getting filled and they were very attentive. Would definitely come back again!
