About 4 ( more 3.75) Let me start with that empanadas were very good. Cheesebread delicious, soft and chewy. Main dishes hearty, not very healthy combos but tasty. Food was alright. This is more of a to-go restaurant, they don't have any seats besides the ones outside. If they're filled up good luck sitting, but if you manage to get a table, good luck still - the chairs and tables make you feel super uncomfortable. Also staff is not as friendly as I expect a Colombian restaurant to be. Plus no alcohol beverages. Plus food comes in containers no plates. CHEAP. read more

I love Colombian food, and never have I had a Colombian restaurant screw up the Bandeja Paisa (which is a ton of food for only $14), so I'm not even sure I'm right person to listen to here. The reason I don't give them 5 stars is 1. I'm stingy with 5 star reviews 2. Their food could use a little more seasoning (adobo, anyone?!), especially their meats. 3. The place is not air conditioned, so going on the hottest day of the year isn't the smartest move. They do takeout, so that's an option if you don't want to eat there. Empanadas were amazing. Perfect crisp and spice to breaded portion. Inside was shredded beef which was tender and juicy. Bandeja paisa was also very flavorful and huge (steak, pork, sausage, egg, avocado, rice and beans). Steak had some non-chewable fat/muscle and rice was uneventful. Last night myself and my wife went into this restaurant for the first time, we always wanted to try it, as it is a local business we haven't tried. Well it was not disappointing. The food was fresh and well prepared. They plate a large portion of food and the price was very fare. I had the chicken / pork pachuca with rice and red beans and my wife had shrimp in a red garlic sauce with rice and beans and a side dish of sweet plantains. "Wow" It was soooo good! Can't wait to go back! Do yourself a favor and make a dinner night at this restaurant you'll leave there full and happy. We stopped by quickly to drink a soda and eat a bunuelo and they insulted us for not leaving a tip essentially for drinking a soda. I went there last week with my girlfriend....Her first time..... It was almost 7:15pm and the sign outside said that the restaurant closed at 7:30pm... We were welcomed to order, not rushed at all. This is a family business, mother, daughter and son and are very warm and friendly. I have been there many times and "NEVER" disappointed with not only the food served but with the good feeling I always have eating there. My girlfriend felt the same way. The food is very fresh, big portions and very tasty. For those of you who like to wait on long lines to be served, have to beg for attention, feel rushed for so so, same old, same old....... I came to this place with my boyfriend and his sister. It is Possibly the WORST Colombian spot I have ever been to. We waited over 45 minutes for ONE dish. Another GROUP of people came shortly after we had arrived (group of 6) and their food came out before ours. When we asked the young lady about why their food was out before ours she said food comes out according to how they put in the orders. THAT STILL DIDNT ANSWER MY QUESTION because we had ordered waaaaay before them. We got ONE dish and their six plates came out before ours. The food was not great. Most of it was cold and the meat didn't taste good. The plate was a generous amount but from what I know bandeja paisas are a pretty big meal which is why my boyfriend and I decided to share. The waitress acted surprised when we expressed we were displeased with her services. Instead of apologizing for the long wait and trying to keep the CUSTOMER happy she got real dumb with my sister in law when she asked to speak to a manager. I went here with 6 other people I had never met before (a Meetup) and I had taken on the task of picking a restaurant, even though I wasn't familiar with the area. Armed with trusted Yelp reviews from others, the seven of us ventured into Aires de Columbia with our BYOB. We were happily welcomed and when we asked for a different table away from the door it was done quickly and without an issue. Extra glasses were provided as needed and food orders were taken quickly but not rushed-- they even said we could order off the breakfast menu if we wanted (it was 5:30pm) and could tailor dishes as need be. Our food came out quickly and it was all delicious. We had ordered from all over the menu and everyone was very happy with their meal... some sharing back and forth so they could sample things other were raving about. I had 2 empanadas as an appetizer- beef and chicken. Both were nice and hot and stuffed with filling. For an entree I had the Bandeja Paisa (a combo platter of all the good stuff)... I was a bit concerned that the Carne Asada would be overcooked (it's kind of like a thin beef cutlet) but it was perfect- tender and flavorful. Almost every plate was cleaned off so we all contentedly passed on dessert. Finally, our waitress/hostess picked up on the fact that we were all strangers to each other when we walked in, and she surprised us all with separate checks, without us even asking!This is a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" review... I want this place to get lots of business and be successful, but I want to keep it my little secret as well. At any rate, if you like Latin style food (not Mexican) I highly recommend you give it a try.
