These are the BEST tacos and sopes in Salem. We are here regularly. It's been hard to find a Mexican place we like since moving here from California but this is it!! I love the quesabirria tacos and the sopes. My husband love the sopes and all the tacos. My picky kids even like the tacos. Oh yeah, and the rice!!!! The rice is amazing. So happy I stumbled upon this taco truck! It is located outside the Shell gas station across from Roth's on Commercial St SE. I have been craving birria this week and saw this place had a Birria Quesadilla the size of a pizza! I had to order it. It only comes with one small consome, so I ordered an extra consome as well. We also ordered a few tacos. For $16, I was flabbergasted by how huge this Pizza Birria was. It could easily feed 4 people. They gave lots of various salsas: green, spicy, and guac. The flavor was delicious and the consome was very light. For $2.75, the tacos were not bad. They seemed to be made with homemade tortillas that are pretty thick. Today was my first time trying this taco truck out of curiosity and a neighbor recommendation. I ordered their birria , Al pastor and carne asada tacos. Their birria is good has good flavor and a good balance of seasoning. The Al pastor is ok it's a little dry and flavor could be better. The asada was good as well. the portion in the tacos is balanced, wait time was not bad and pricing in my opinion is a little too high for what you get. The limes looked old so there's room for improvement and to top things off I got hair in 3 out of 5 orders!! who can resist dollar tacos on Tuesday's? it would worth it only on that day and watch out for the HAIR! read more

Don Chuy has been my go-to taco spot ever since I saw it! Their birria is amazing, just as good as the tacos I've had in Mexico, get their quesataco combo, it's got 3 cheese and birria tacos, the consome (broth) for dipping, as well as two types of salsas and radishes and cucumbers for a little refreshing crunch!
