We enjoyed walking the entire property before the game. There is a huge Kraken merch store, tons of food options, several VIP lounges, and even during a packed hockey game, there was space in the arena where it didn't feel like sardines packed in. The Pepsi Breakaway deal is the way to go if you see an event where it is offered. For $300, you get 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 Pepsi beverages, and a bag of popcorn. This was a win for our family! Dinner and a hockey game made for a great night while vacationing in Seattle. Even in the nosebleeds, the view was pretty good, and they offer lots of screens to make sure you don't miss a beat. Climate Pledge is high-tech, eco-friendly, clean, orderly, and we couldn't have asked for more during our experience.

The acoustics were good, food and drinks were pricey so eat before you go in there, worst pretzel and "cheese sauce" which ended up being Tostitos cheese dip. We had some girls sneak into the section and stand sort of blocking our view but the usher was quick to turn them away. Every usher/employee we encountered was very nice, helpful and polite. I'd love to go back maybe catch a Kraken game but will splurge a little more to get better seats.

This stadium features a U-shaped design and located right on the shores of Lake Washington. We've attended numerous Husky games have always had a great time. Staff members are cheerful and friendly. Concession stand prices are astronomical, which is to be expected. They do have a solid selection beverages and food. Tailgating and sailgating are time honored tradition at Husky stadium given the promixity to Lake Washington. Getting to the games is now easier with the light rail stop directly outside the stadium. Both Metro and Sound Transit have bus routes near the stadium. The most common strategy is to drive and park near or on University Avenue and walk through the UW campus. This stadium is convenient and a ton of fun.

The only complaint is that when it started raining during the game, the rows closer to the front didn't have any cover while the ones further back did. There are some concession stands for food and shops if you want to buy UW gear. It was fun to enjoy the game on a nice day and it was a relaxing time.

I have over 20 years of memories coming here watching indie movies like Pirana, docuseries to Siff films. I also watched plenty of blockbuster films. My fondest memory is the smell of the popcorn that fills the front space. It is so distinct and the melted butter and grease on my fingers rubbed on my movie ticket is nostalgic. I love the indie vibe of the workers. It was a polite Seattle cool, depending on the era a little emo and punk, with some grunge. The attitude was very U District. At this point it felt like it's mostly dependent on personal preference so I decided to go in and find out. I thought the place is decent. The biggest attraction is that tickets are probably the cheapest in the area. Regular ticket price is around $16 for Seattle but it's $10 at Varsity (as of December 2023). And you get a dollar off if you're a student. Also you don't even have to buy the student tickets in person because you could just order them online (other places like AMC downtown, you have to go in person). I made sure to bring my student ID in case if they want to check, but it was never checked onsite. I think it's a little more shabby than AMC and other more commercial theaters, but it does its job. The movie started on time and there were no issue throughout the movie. I wish they could just shut off the ads before the screen turns on at starting time because you're facing a blue screen that shows nothing while the ad is blasting. On the other hand, I liked that there aren't that many previews to watch through to get to the actual movie I came to see. The bathroom is two flights up the stairs from the ground floor. It's well kept and smells ok, but they probably have to check the toilet paper inventory more often. By the time I went in, there were no toilet paper left at all so I didn't forget to inform the staff that before leaving. The staff was polite and accepted my remarks in good spirit.

Other times you could swear it was the 60's and the last of the Hippies are there but then the next week you watch Inlaws and Outlaws with the Director Drew Emery there telling you about his lackluster love life. Oh and here is the amazing part. Its FREE! Okay we usualy donate $4 for the coffee and cookies but still. No one ever needs to stay home and watch Nova alone or wonder what they can do that is different on a Friday night in Wallingford again.
