I'm surprised this hasn't drawn attention from regulators, given how visible it was. I'm sharing this because it feels like something that could become a serious issue if it continues unchecked.

On top of that, the staff interaction didn't help. I asked a simple question about the move to the new location and was met with a very unfriendly, unwelcoming response. It just added to the overall negative experience. Really disappointed. We came for a great night out and left feeling like we got ripped off.

Since the whole city and beyond was celebrating the Seahawks, everyone was partying, especially around Pioneer Square, including at Underbelly. Because of so, they had event specials with discounted taps, featured cocktails and a pizza special for grub. You order at the bar, pick a seat, drink and have fun. My friends and I had a few beers here and ended up leaving when the sun went down. Music was blasting, everyone was chanting SEA-HAWKS!, and the staff was super friendly. PLUS, they allow dogs here. I also dig the prohibition-era vibes here, paying homage to Seattle's underground days. If you're in Pioneer Square and need a drink or three, Underbelly is a fun spot for that. I'll definitely be back for a good time.

Much of the art is for sale, but definitely for someone who has a strong love for it and or deep pockets. The bar has been around since 2005 with an aim to build in the eyes of patrons for patrons. There is a fairly extensive menu of cocktails that carry a pricey tag, but are good. I simply opted for a couple Tom Collins, and it was excellent. Had me walking back kinda sideways. Definitely a gem of a drinking spot, perfect place to close out a night.

The bathrooms were nearby and there were enough to use without having to stand in line, which was nice. The drinks were expensive and therefore it loses a star. I hate being fleeced on drinks after paying a high amount to get into a concert. The bartenders were nice as were the security personnel. Parking is kind of a pain as you have to pay to park in a parking garage or drive around trying to find on street parking, which is nearly impossible. Loved the vibe on the street after the concert. Lots of food vendors, music, and fun people hanging about. We would definitely come back to this venue.

Problem was they were sold out with a lot of things, and then when the event was almost over-not one of our dishes even arrived. The server even checked a couple times and the 3rd time we saw her I flagged her down and told her to just cancel the order. She was obviously relieved and even said, "yes that's a good idea"..lol..I wasn't even mad at the server because she obviously was so stressed out. The concert was 2 hours long and no food. Several people complained too of not getting their food. They need to be more prepared if they decide to accept events like that. Or just don't even offer the menu if the kitchen can't deliver. At least the front door staff and serving staff was nice.

With this many people, and they only have 3 stinky dirty stalls in the women bathroom. Drinks were mediocre, hard to find parking around the area too. There's a good amount of seating in the platform area and a large open floor in the middle. A lot of people also stand/dance on the same platform as there's a lot of leeway for you to move between areas. I never really do coat check because I'm paranoid about not having my things on me, but the one here is easy and reliable. The only real issue was the photo booth which only worked for the first half hour or so. I'm assuming it ran out of film or something because at some point, it just kept taking people's money without taking any photos, which was brought up to the staff. This isn't necessarily on Showbox since the photo booth is provided by a vendor, but I would've appreciated an "out of order" sign. If this happens to you, you can visit the vendor's website and call for a refund!
