With a venue as such, VME was efficient and strategic in all accounts to ensure each phase of our wedding ran smoothly. Rom was absolutely amazing as our lead coordinator! Right off the bat, she understood our style and the type of wedding we wanted to plan. She showed a genuine interest and offered sincere suggestions which we really appreciated. With it being wedding season and all, we never once felt her attention divide. We can not thank her enough for being engaged and on top of everything. As a bride who has never dreamed up a wedding as a child, we were kind of just pulling random pins in hopes it would all come together. Rom was really supportive of all our major DIY projects and even scheduled touch bases to help keep us on track. We found Carol - the sweetest, caring reverend who added so many ornate intricate details to the ceremony and made it extra special for all guests. ** THE LEAD UP ** Carol spent time getting to know us personally, something not all officiants do. She also gave us homework that made us feel vulnerable with each other, and that made us feel closer together. I always thought couples counseling was for people who had issues, but it turns out you can feel closer together even when you didn't think it was possible! ** THE CEREMONY ** Carol was able to suggest things like a candle lighting, and chiming of a spiritual bowl in the beginning, but also added some lighthearted funny jokes within her speech. She brought our families closer together during the ceremony, and a found a way to get everyone involved when I thought originally it would just be my husband and I going down the aisle. After our wedding, guests were telling us that our wedding was so amazing and that it almost felt like a "normal" wedding-- even with social distancing, masks and all! We met Lindsay when she was the social catering manager for the Crowne Plaza where we were going to have our original wedding reception pre-COVID. Lindsay is the type of person to rise to any occasion and she does it with a smile and positive attitude and is extremely detail-oriented and efficient. After we had to change our venue due to COVID, we reached out to Lindsay to hire her as our day of event coordinator for our wedding. Due to COVID, we weren't sure if we had to postpone our wedding, but once we figured out we could still have it, we had less than a MONTH to replan our entire wedding.
