I have spent more than 20 years in the recruiting industry and have built lasting relationships with clients and candidates based on integrity, trust, and results. I joined Goodwin Recruiting with the understanding that I would receive back-office support so I could focus on recruiting, building client relationships, and placing exceptional candidates. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Instead of receiving the level of back office support I expected, I found myself handling many administrative responsibilities on my own while also acting as a collections agent when clients became past due. Rather than being able to focus solely on recruiting, I was spending valuable time collecting invoices for the company. The most disappointing part occurred at the end of my relationship with Goodwin Recruiting and CEO Andy Decker. After personally working with one of my clients to collect a $23,000 outstanding payment, Goodwin received and deposited those funds. The very next day, my contract was terminated without explanation. At that time, I was also still owed commissions from another client's payment that I had successfully collected earlier in 2026. To this day, I have not been paid those commissions, nor have I received any communication from Goodwin Recruiting regarding the matter after several emails of false accusations, repeated bald-faced lies, excuses, and threats from Andy Decker. I still don't know how he can look at himself in the mirror every morning. He's a very, very sick individual! Since leaving, I have spoken with other recruiters who described experiences that raised similar concerns for me. Those conversations reinforced my decision to share my own experience publicly so others can make an informed decision. While Goodwin Recruiting never paid the commissions I earned or communicated with me about them, God never stopped providing for me. He opened doors no one could shut, blessed me with incredible clients through joining an honest Christian-based recruiting franchise, and reminded me that my provision has never been in the hands of deceitful companies or evil people It has always been in the hands of God. Looking back, what felt like one of the greatest disappointments of my career became one of God's greatest blessings. I want to end this review differently. Father God, I pray that Andy Decker and the Goodwin Recruiting leadership team seek God's wisdom above profit, choose integrity over convenience, and treat every recruiter with the same honesty, fairness, and respect they would desire for themselves if they were a contract recruiter at their company. I pray that if there are business practices that have harmed recruiters, they would be exposed. I pray that they have the humility and courage to make them right. I also pray for every independent recruiter still working hard every day under the Goodwin Recruiting name. May you protect them, bless the work of their hands, give them discernment, and ensure they receive all of the compensation they have honestly earned for serving their clients and candidates. In the matchless, all-powerful name of Jesus. Amen! This review is not written out of hatred. It is written in truth. I have chosen forgiveness because Christ first forgave me, but forgiveness does not require silence. My hope is that sharing my experience helps protect others while leaving room for repentance, restoration, and change. Above all, I give God all the glory. He never failed me, even when evil, deceitful people did. What others intended for harm, God has used for good!!!
