When I called and left a hasty voice mail after not being able to speak with a live person about my issue, I was called back by an older woman and chastised for speaking too quickly in the voicemail. The woman made a point to lecture me on it instead of asking how she could help me when she returned my call. She spoke to me like I was a child and not an adult customer. She showed very little concern over my actual issue of where and why my flower delivery was unaccounted for. I've never experienced this before, anywhere, and I've worked in the customer service field for 20 years. The quality of their floral work is high, but I will not be giving them any future business, as other florists in the area behave much more professionally and I don't need the added drama of a business who doesn't understand how to keep customers from feeling like a burden.

We didn't act right away, but kept the business card. A month or so later, we headed out to the nursery in Rutland. It was in the country & set back off the road, so at first we thought we might be in the wrong place. We found the parking lot & then bumped into Joe. We showed him pictures of our house and let him know what we wanted done. He gave us a tour of the nursery, and was at our home within a week to give us recommendations & a design plan. I know not a thing about plants, I often kill them just by looking at them. We had to put our trust in his knowledge & insight. The old trees & shrubs were pulled out using caution not to destroy our stone wall or foundation. The workers were polite, efficient, and respectful of our property. The new plantings went in at least 7 days earlier than promised. The result? Couldn't be happier. It's been about 2 months now, and I haven't killed the plants yet. The wedding ceremony pics were perfect, and she got some excellent photos of the bridal party all together, we struggled a bit wrangling our huge family and rowdy bridal party, but she persevered and those pictures are beautiful. There were a few hiccups the day of, but that is to be expected with a large event and Heather handled them with grace. I highly recommend discussing exactly which photos are most important a few days before the wedding (family formations etc.) as that was very helpful and I was happy to let her handle all of those details the day of. Heather was able to provide me with most of the photos within 2 weeks of the ceremony and even shared all 676 of them with me online.
