A Lawyer at Western Wake Law Group in Cary did a poor title search on our home. Three weeks after…read morewe closed we began to get foreclosure notices on the house due to a past lien from the previous owner. In panic, we contacted our lawyer at WWLG and she assured us that she would handle everything. I had a very hard time getting her to return my phone calls and emails. And when I did reach her, she stated that she was handling everything and we would not loose the house. We continued to get foreclosure notices and our new house was to be foreclosed on in less then 2 weeks. No response from her. I contacted her partner who also said they were handling it with no other info. I finally called our Title Insurance company who halted the foreclosure immediately. The title insurance company had to sue my lawyer to cover the lien. My advice, always have title insurance and don't use Western Wake Law Group.
